It's only a quick one this week as the rankings are always kinda wild after only one game, thoughts, comments and moaning all appreciated.

I am glad we aren't considered bottom feeders.
It's going to be tough for us expandees, but I dare to say we are the best of the newcomers. We'll see how it goes.

Well one quick observation. Seratov and Hellas who were fighting it out for last place last year are both in the top 5 this year after the first game

Also it's woth noting that I'm no longer calculating the average scores but instead the average score difference, hence some ratings now being in minus figures. Can't wait to see some more games roll by and get a good measure of how these rankings are really gonna shape up!

plan on us being up there for the rest of the season as that is where we should be...we were robbed last year...by stockholme and if the energy thing was put in last year we prob would have won...

nothing against stockholm at all caus ethey are def good team, but that is a well agreed comment. They definatly would not have won had the energy rule been in effect. But this is a new season and everyone good.

Movers and Shakers
Biggest climber this weeks folks is the Barcelona Spanish Matadors with a massive 13 places surge up the rankings, after a 47 -3 drubbing of the Metro City Phenomenals these boys are high in the rankings and high on life, look out Ricky Williams.

This week saw the Warsaw Warriors hit the ground running and forget to use their legs, dropping a massive 15 places, ouch, sitting down in 18th spot in the power rankings and wondering what the heck happened as Renosa dished out a 30 - nothing shutout. In the words of Tom Petty, Warsaw? Free falling? Most definitely!

Power Five
This weeks games saw 3 new teams entering the exclusive and elusive EEAA#1 Power Five, after the 13 place jump it was no surprise to see Barca right up there in 2nd place, knocking Hellas Hoplites down a peg or two.. or three to 4th with the Buzzards and the Legion at 3rd and 5th respectively. Jersey Wildcats dig their claws in ever deeper into that top spot with yet another steam roller win, this time a 69 - 0 shut out at Morgantown doing their grip on the top spot no harm at all.

The Bottom of the Barrel
Two new teams sink into the doldrums this week, Metro City Phenomenals and The Morgantown Mountaineers, as the saying goes fellas you gotta start at the bottom to get to the top, can these two teams turn it around? It’s early days yet and at the very least time is a great healer!

why are the Instabul Hippo's so low?
