I would have to say that the Kibwezi Choppaholix have the best running back tandum in all of Africa AA#2. We have thunder and we have lightening.

First you see the lightening of Jookie McJookerson who has rushed for 1,247 yards and 18 touchdowns on 174 carries giving him 7.2 ypc

Then you hear the thunder of Stew Cambell who has rushed for 939 yards and 21 touchdowns on 152 carries giving him 6.2 ypc

That is a combined total of 2186 yards 39 touchdowns on 326 carries giving a combined ypc of 6.7

You ain't shit if you've never been screwed up

I would have to say that the Casablanca Sultans have the best running back tandem in all of Africa AA#2. We have thunder and we have lightning.

First you see the lightning of Alfonso Alonzo who has rushed for 1,110 yards and 13 touchdowns on 155 carries giving him 7.2 ypc

Then you hear the thunder of Coach Knight who has rushed for 1306 yards and 17 touchdowns on 163 carries giving him 8 ypc

That is a combined total of 2416 yards 30 touchdowns on 318 carries giving a combined ypc of 7.6.

The facts are clearly stated

Well then just a little added tension for the big game coming up in a couple of days. Which running back tandum will step up and play better. The Sultans tandum of Alonzo and Knight have more yards and a better ypc but the Choppaholix tandum of McJookerson and Cambell find the endzone more often.

We just don't need the endzone as much to win.

It doesnt matter, because Corpsman Up! is the best QB in the league. He trumps all HB's anyway.

Except for the Choppaholix quarterback, Max Imus, has thrown for 2545 yards which is 81 more yards and has a completion percentage of 73.2% but has only thrown 19 touchdowns to your 29 so their is still that to debate

Whatever.. all of those nice numbers have been done against inferior competition. The U's have BY FAR the best 1-2 punch at running back becuz their numbers say so AND they've been doing it consistently against better teams and defenses. Without having played against half of the Lion Conference punching bags, these are the stats..

Biff Buster - 1628 yards, 180.9 apg, 8.7 ypc, 23 TDs
Andrell Maddox - 1181 yards, 131.2 apg, 6.9 ypc, 17 TDs

If you'd like me to add all that up, that's over 2800 yards rushing AND 40TDs. And this was, in part, done against 5 of the 7 other top teams in the conference (we have not played two of them yet). Granted, the stats will probably be unfairly padded tomorrow when we play that lowly Arhus team - I am thinking we might get 800-900 team rushing yards that game, but honestly, anything posted here about the best running back tandem is nothing more than honorable mention if youre not talking about Biff and Andrell.

Player G Rush Rush/G Yds Avg Yds/G TD
Jordan "The Man" Karrick 9 181 20.1 1819 10 202.1 39
A-Train Sanders 9 142 15.8 1264 8.9 140.4 24

This is the stat line for the Seychelles Island RB's so i'm pretty sure they squash all your stats

Do you see a common trend here...all of the undefeated teams have solid runningback tandums

Nah.. I think the undefeated teams have good defensive players and schemes. Our running back tandems have helped big time, but we've been somewhat contained against a couple of the better Lion Conference teams. In those cases, the defense was the difference.
