Not too much of a shake up in the rankings this week. The showdown between the Monkeys and Hitmen was a nail biter, but Frankfurt managed to squeak out a 13-10 win to keep their place atop the leaderboard.
THE POWER FOUR
1. Frankfurt Funky Monkeys (10-0)
This spot is theirs until someone can knock them off for the first time ever in the regular season. Their schedule has been ridiculously easy so far. They have their work cut out for them with the Scoregasm, Rasputins, Dragons, and Deloreans in the weeks ahead. Can they glide to yet another undefeated season, or will someone finally tame the beast?
2. Cosa Nostra Hitmen (8-2)
I'm going to shock the world and put a temporary halt to my heretofore incessant arrogance (jeez, I even talk like an arrogant prick, dont I?) and proclaim the Hitmen the 2nd best team in Zeta. The two 1-loss teams have yet to play Frankfurt, and the Hitmen played them tougher than any team to date. The Monkeys were averaging something like 80 points a game before today. Hat's off to Ragu for very nearly toppling Zeta's finest.
3. Saratov Scoregasm (9-1)
Now that's more like it. The train keeps a rollin' in Saratov, spanking the Guardians by an unhealthy margin. They take on some team with two wins in their 3-season history. Should be a good one. That epic battle will be followed by the much anticipated game against the Funky Monkeys. A win in that game would pretty much shit on the small amount of modesty I've displayed so far in these rankings. Goodbye arrogant asshole, hello arrogant asshole who can actually back up what he says.
4. St. Petersburg Rasputins (9-1)
Took out their frustration on a disappointing Hill Valley team this week. A win against Kazakhstan next week will more or less seal up a top 4 seed and at least one home playoff game. The only challenge left after that is a week 15 meeting with Frankfurt, thanks to another bullshit easy Alpha draw (WHERE IS THE JUSTICE?). A 14-2 record will probably land them in 2nd, and winning out will have them sitting pretty atop Zeta. Can they do it? Probably not, but I'm not ruling it out.
THE MUDDLED MIDDLE
5. Kazakhstan Dragons (7-3)
The Dragons took another step today to separate themselves from the rest of the Cinderella story hopefuls. The loss to Hill Valley will hurt them severely in the end, but there's nothing they can do about it now. A win this week against the Rasputins will give them hope for a top 4 finish and the all important home playoff game. I think they're a step behind the elite teams, but I'd love to see them prove me wrong. Seriously. Do it.
6 and 7. Secretville Offtopics and Hill Valley Deloreans (5-4-1)
I honestly cant distinguish these 2 teams right now. I think everyone expected more from them. Both have been up and down all year, they have a similar strength of schedule, and they even freakin tied in their head to head matchup. If one of you could please step it up it would make my job a whole lot easier. Kthxbai.
ON THE BUBBLE
In no particular order: Berlin Crusaders, Bratislava Butchers, Dresden Doomsday, Mississippi Marsupials, South City Chiefs. Ok I lied, that was alphabetical order. So shoot me.
I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time sorting through this mess. What do you need to know? All 5 of these teams sit at 4-6, with a bevy of head to heads in the remaining 6 games. They've all beaten up on the Flint Tropics and Mad Dogs, but been trounced by the top teams. If one of these teams manages to squeak out 9 wins, they'll be in the playoffs. If not... we're going to have a complex and upsetting 8-win cluster fuck.
THE REST
Italy Guardians (3-7)
Grodno Demons (2-8)
Mad Dogs (1-9)
Flint Tropics (0-10)
Best game of week 10: Frankfurt Funky Monkeys vs. Cosa Nostra Hitmen

The Monkeys hold off the Hitmen to win by a field goal, ensuring that they stay atop the leaderboard for another couple of weeks. BigRagu is STEAMING MAD.
Biggest game of week 11: St. Petersburg Rasputins vs. Kazakhstan Dragons

This game could very well decide which teams get a home game in the first round of the playoffs. Can the Dragons buck their trend of losing to Zeta's best teams, or will the Rasputins slam the door on their hopes of bringing playoff football to the desolate country known as Kazakhstan?
Prediction: Rasputins 31, Dragons 17
