Hey I was just wondering if line general was really that important. All it does is give a boost to morale and stamina. I could be wrong but it doesnt seem like it will actually make your line better at their position. Whats the consensus?

Late in the game, don't you want your line to have more stamina? Don't you want them to be less tired? If being tired is ok, make sure that you don't bother putting stamina in any of your players either.
Has your line given up a sack or two during the game? Are they getting beat occassionally during the game but your team is still holding on? This is where morale comes in. It is motivation. If you want your players to give up the game, then there is no need for morale. But if you want them to keep trying, having morale higher helps.

Stamina and morale are the difference bettween giving up 21 points in the 4th Q and losing the game or scoring 21 points and winning the game.
Besides, come on you are a Center...what else are you gonna spend your skill points on? This is a much better discussion for a QB or MLB which actually has far too many things to work on in addition to their General skill.

It depends on the team, in my opinion. If you invest in line gen, you want a few things...
1) your C is on the field all game
2) you have very few backups
. Basically, if you have a lot of rotation going, including your center, and people have decent stamina, you don't need this.

See people act like its so important but if you have good backups then I would rather put points else where, like pancake.

Keep dreaming about pancakes. You'll soon won't get any anymore - exept for those gutted teams.

Line General saves your whole O-Line points that they would otherwise have to spend in confidence and stamina, which is always nice.

Line General is a much better SA than Pancake

I started a new C with the flex point hand out, and I'm testing out how the general SA works. I tend to go too heavy on SAs in general, but with a C, you pretty much just have blocking and strength to work on other than that, so I'm hoping having a good general will be worthwhile.
Just wondering though - does anyone know if it does anything to boost your own confidence and stamina?

Not true. Lots of Line Gen, lots of rotation, least amount of hurries in the conference, 2nd least amount of sacks.
Not like builds have anything to do with either.
