More good stuff this week in Zeta not alot of big games or suprising ones the drama belonged to the shake up in Alpha.
In a Class of their own
1. New Jersey Crocodiles(9-0)
Still rolling and now the last undefeated team in the WEA5 quite an accomplishment, still have some games left to play this season but the toughest part of their schedule is behind them and their date with the post-seasons #1 spot is all but a luck only nine games into the season for a team that figured to be in the mix for home field but not as dominant as they have been.
Upcoming: Tigers, Wolves, Bocs
Projected: 12-0
2. Roman Legion(8-1)
No slouches they dismantle the Bocs in Imperial Legion type fashion doing their usual total domination. Just too hard to pick against this team the rest of the way and now they can dream of a re-match against the Crocs in the conference finals as the playoff hopefuls battle for the 7th spot and a shot at revenue share with the Legion.
Up Next: Minotaurs, Chuck Norris, Bulls
Projected Record: 11-1
The next four
3. Walterfootball.com Draftniks(7-2)
It's five in a row for the always physical streaking Draftniks, their next game against the Wolves just got alot easier due to an untimed, unplanned Wolves re-organization. Coming off a 100 point win they are now an easy favorite to nock off my beloved Wolves and have an easier schedule the rest of the week.
Who's Next: Wolves, Bocs, Minotaurs
Projected: 10-2
5. Hollywood Knights(6-3)
Survived against the Manlets who seem to get better weekly, the Knights won the turnover battle 1-0 and by protecting the ball themselves were able to outlast the physical Manlets who fall out of any real chance at the #4 seed. Vastly improved their own chances of remaining in the top four despite a tough game 16 draw against Barcelona.
Who's next: Sidewinders, Pirates, C-Knights
PROJECTED RECORD: 9-3
5. Warsaw Wolves(8-1)
Had massive roster upheaval in the wake of the departure of former Wolves QB Yuri Lazarev but the roster is being quickly re-constituted. The resulting chemistry hit will undoubtadly make things tougher for the Wolves going forward and imperials their once very realistic shot at a top seed but watch out they should be back in high gear come playoff time or perhaps as early as week 14 against Hollywood.
Who's Next: Draftniks, Crocs, Manlets
Projected Record: 9-3
In the post-season just not upward
6. Misc Manlets(7-5)
Played the Knights close but not close enough unable to score a game winner their record drops a notch even as they still have some tough games ahead in the season, still this is a physical team and clearly a cut above the teams below them, well rounded and obviously dangerous probably the last of the teams with legitimate title aspirations.
Who's Next: C-Knights, Tigers, Wolves
Fighting for their post-season lives:
7. Vienne Vikings(5-4)
Vienne moves to the winning side of things for the first time this season. These guys are the new post-season darling of this pollster and despite their poor secondary could very well join juggernaught status next season. They also should protect this 7 spot with their lives as an income sharing split with the Legion will be like having a home game for most teams. Now they get to test their mettle against 3 good playoff contenders.
Who's Next: Chuck Norris, Bulls, Pirates
Projected: 8-4
8. Chuck Norris(6-3)
Chucks back in after a 1 point victory against the Bulls who straight up blew it down 4 with 1:51 left on the clock Pamplona - calls out the field goal kicker on 4th and goal. Even the Legions phantom field goal call against the Crocs doesnt merit up there in terms of missed opportunities. If these guys make the post-season yes they have earned it but boy did the Bulls drop it.
Next Three: Vikings, Legion, Mamertini
PROJECTED RECORD: 8-3
9. Iberian Bocs (5-4)
Got hammered by the Legion but hey they scored more than 7 points this time at least. Who knows with this team can be good or bad week to week almost regardless of matchup. Have lots to build on but I think you can still que up the Jim Mora "Playoffs?" quote and it applies.
Next up: Mamertini, Draftniks, Crocs
EXPECTED RECORD: 6-6
10. Pamplona Bulls(4-5)
Wow, when these guys miss the playoffs by a game they are gonna look back at that FG against Chuck Norris - had no business being kicked, plain and simple - Unless of course they had beat Bulls +3, if this wasnt GLB you can bet the FBI would be checking their player names against the Vegas Yellow sheet.
Next Three: Hague, Vikings, Legion
PROJECTED RECORD: 5-7
11. Hague Pirates(4-5)
Will be theirs or the Bulls last week of coverage as one of them is virtually eliminated from the post-season next week and both are probably actually done. They beat the Sidewinders 97-0 but the games get harder from here on out.
Up Next: Bulls, Hollywood, C-Knights
NOTE ON THE PREDICTIONS I DO NOT USE THE LEAGUE PROJECTOR, so this is my prediction purely on observation - leaves it more open to being interesting anyway.
GAME OF THE WEEK: Draftniks vs. Wolves
Not the matchup I/we once expected now we need a near perfect game to unseat these guys and lock in a homefield game. Let the Draftniks have their fun though and their Rodney Dangerfield (I get no respect) moment as this one is gonna be a tough one for us to win.
Too Sad to predict
The Battle for 7: Chuck Norris vs. Vienne Vikings
Great game, Im intrigued by this one, Chuck passes well Vienne does not defend the pass well but they can score alot of points. Take the over in this one - especially for whoever was points fixing in the Bulls game.
Vikings 64 Chuck Norris 51
Must See TV: Roman Legion vs. Athens Minotaurs
Alright this is a mean one, the Legion may just set the season record for most points scored. Gonna be a rough one for the Taurs and this one I think the Legion who show no mercy hit 200.
Roman Legion 201 Athens 0
The Late game: Pamplona Bulls vs. Hague Pirates
Two teams that I think are dead go head to head here, the difference will be which one I KNOW is dead the other will maintain a pulse and a shot at joining the second season.
Bulls 23 Pirates 14
If your interested in these games your padding stats:
Crocs 154 Tigers 0
Hollywood 124 Sidewinders 13
Manlets 44 Constantinople 10
Bocs 28 Mamertini 17

Hollywood Knights are very excited to finally edge out over the Manlets, it was a good game guys!
Is true that we messed up last week against Vienne, a game we shouldn't have lost but that is football, you never know when this can happen, even the unbeatable Patriots of last season hit the ground on the only game that you don't want to lose in your life.
