Ok, since Porch is a whiny bitch. And complains that I don't do enough here, I came up with a way to tell who the best Pass Rushers in the league are. It's my formula, it's pretty damn accurate, and I don't give a fuck if you think it's wrong.

Here it is.
The best Pass Rushers in the league.

Sacks are worth 1.0
TFL's are worth 1.0 (if you don't think so, tell me why. You'll be WRONG, but tell me why)
Hurries are worth 0.5 (pressure against a QB matters in the short AND long term of a game)
FFum SHOULD be worth 1.5, and will be the next time I total this up (Pro Bowl). But I didn't take the time this time out. Deal.

Sacks + TFL's + Hurries + FFum/ Total Plays = How many plays it takes for you to earn a Point (Snaza Scale)

AND you should really take on Spurgeon.

And Hugh did all his work from the LDE spot, which is kind of impressive, so he might give you a challenge at RDE if he ever played there

if porch does a freindly, id love too... lets also make it known, my player just became a level 26 and he has played the better higher level players fairly well for that disadvantage

I have 1 hurry against me in 512 plays(57 plays a game..) howie long jr got the only hurry. and 36 cakes for a LOT aint too bad

First of all Snaza anything you have to say is a mute point. You design any formula or opinion based on bragging your Winona players up.You do it constantly. Example Lets make a formula for best QB wins= 10 pts ,T.D's 4 ,Int -5,Fumbles -5, etc etc Oh and guess who's the best QB in the league = Snaza. Give me a break we shut out your DE's both of them.They didn't do shit,so on my scale Go fuck your formula.

Wow, considering we don't have the top 2 DE's in the league... And you're teams own, bo 54 is the 2nd rated DE. I'd have thought you couldn't have anything bad to say.

CA - I didn't do Msd Tackles, b/c I don't think it's a big deal for a Pass Rusher. You miss the HB a yard behind the line, someone else is likely to get him in a yard or 2.
I'll take a few Msd Tackles any day if they can get a low score on the Snaza Scale.

I hate to agree with Captain Facism but hes totally right. First up the formula the way youve laid it out doesnt even work anyway but without linear (or log I guess but lets keep it relatively simple) weighting and regression to the mean shit you cant have a proper statistical formula.

I dont know about missed tackles though - theyre a bit like errors in baseball and really difficult to fit into a model properly.

Seriously you guys. Do you REALLY think I'd take the hours to come up with a proof positive formula? All that work for GLB? Come on...

The one I made is simple, easy, probably fairly accurate, and anyone can figure the numbers out.

Don't believe it's fairly accurate?

Last season Jeeberoni Potpie got a 10.01 ... Seems pretty accurate to me.
