yeah that you did do. Deuce had an off game. He was a game time decision after pulling a hammy in the last game.

Not sure about funky TD's Slide has had at least 1 KO or PR TD for like the last 5 games (including scrimmage). It was nice to finally see my CB finally get in the endzone.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing you take those 2 TD's away and its a tied game.

I'm fairly certain his unsportsmanlike vitriol stems from being a chef's fan. It's a bitter choice for sure, which is probably causing certain undue duress now displayed through hasty forum malcontent.

Yea, Hanz has always been one of the classier owners we have here. Can't think of one offensive thing he's ever typed in these forums. The entire point here is (small hairy varmits) and shotguns, hatches, bear traps, etc provide zero humor. After all this is football, but if you prefer to play the Hillbilly role more power to you just keep in my that my response will be "blah, blah" especially when you call my team out.

Well, I must give it to you B313R, that is a significantly more intelligent post than "blah, blah". However, it is quite common for sports teams to have their mascots do stunts on the sideline or otherwise show their superiority over the opposing team... even if they are clearly inferior.

Also, it is very common in the American use of the English language to use puns, similes, and metaphors to describe things. That is no different in football. How many times have you or someone you know said that your team was going to "kill" another team? Or have you heard someone say that a team "beat the living (insert any number of words here)" out of another team?

Further, humor is interpreted by each individual. Whereas you might not find Hanz' humor entertaining, others might. I have usually found it entertaining, although I have never laughed out loud because of it. Therefore, you can not possibly say that Hanz provides zero humor. You could say that Hanz doesn't provide any humor for you.

Now, if your sole intention was to retaliate for Hanz calling your team out, than I propose that their are better and more effective ways of responding than "blah, blah".

Please link me to any valid source that lists or names a player or team personnel stating that they are going to "use a shotgun" as a method of beating another team. In other words what is the correlation of your listed terms of (kill and beat) with "Standing a chance against a Hillbilly with his shotgun"? I do believe in the football world they are mutually exclusive, of course using the "English Language" I can only assume that you are familiar with that term and understand its meaning, if not apparently either I am not from America or I may not comprehend anything of which has been previously discussed in this thread or any other GLB thread; hence the reason why I think it is pure comedy that you mention the "English language".

Yet, all of this conversation has gone on a tangent entirely opposite than where it was ever intended and with that in mind if you would like to have a logical and intellectual conversation feel free to let me know. Until then the word Hillbilly or the impression of a "hillbilly" will continue to merit the response of "blah, blah". If you want to receive non-blah responses I will issue them when someone BEATS the Beavers and or wants to actually talk about a legitimate issue in the NFL.
