In have a OT,and he is always plays as ROT,is it determined whether he will play ROT or LOT by which of his skills are the highest,like a ROT should be able to stop runs other then passes,so I've been focusing on those skills.

Or is it random each game

or is it decided at the first game The OT plays whether he will be ROT or LOT for the rest of his career???

It is hard to say exactly how the CPU rates players but I think that it puts the best OT on the LOT position and the second best in the ROT.

It is still very early in your players build. I suggest deciding which type of OT you want your player to be. Then read through this thread to better plan how to apply your skill points.

It's totally different once you sign with a human team. The team owner could play your tackle at QB if he really wanted to. Of course he wouldn't, but you get the idea. Where you play is dictated by two thing: Where you're willing to play, and where your team owner/GM thinks your player fits best.

You're in the D league. Build your player to the side you want him to play in the future.

True, and when you join a human team -and even when you advertise your guy- state which side he is built to play on. Just be clear with the owner of the team up front and let them know you want your guy signed to a situation where he can play where he is best suited.

Of course, as Cruzi said, the owner can then turn around and play your guy at QB if he wants to.

You have this backwards.

LOTs face RDEs and ROTs face LDEs. Left side of offense is pass protect, right side of offense is run.

I disagree with these guys. The only difference between the LT and RT is that the RT should be a little stronger maybe. Both need strength, blocking, and agility in abundance, as well as enough speed to get their hands on pass rushers. I would build a balanced OT until you are on a high quality team and then specialize a little bit, mostly in terms of SA.
