Strength of schedule meant nothing opening day, but when one loss can change the standings for multiple teams; the pressure has never been so strong.
As the bottom dwellers think of the next season they prey upon the opportunity to knock off a playoff team and ruin someone's postseason dream. For them, there is nothing greater than the opportunity to say "I beat them!" This is the time of the season where teams overlook the minuscule teams and focus on their rival. Where the David's of GLB knock down the Goliath's everywhere.

San Diego Demolition at Death Valley Grave Diggers - The Grave Diggers surprised everyone, well at least me, by taking down Guadalajara this last match up. Can they do it again against the Demolition? Undefeated...taken down everyone...can the Demolition continue? Can they focus on the Grave Diggers with certain dome ahead? The dream has ended and the nightmare has begun as the Demolition must battle for supremacy!

Tana River Ewoks at Mentone Beach Assault - The Tana River runs deep in the land of the West as they take down the defensive shield of every team they face. Will the undefeated battle for the Ewoks end with the Assault? Can the murky waters of Tana River run shallow as they enter Mentone Beach? I know from experience that Mentone has no beach, but does that stop the Ewoks? I may want the battle of Endor, but this is my GAME OF THE WEEK!!!!!!

Barbarian Horde at Mile High Mustangs - Outside of San Diego is there a place the Horde doesn't own? Is there a pathfinder that lead the way away from the Horde? The Mustangs can run, but they cannot hide.

South Bend Golden Hawks at Honolulu Beach Boys - I wish they all could be California girls! No really I do wish they could all be California girls, but there is no beach in South Bend nor is there any California girls. The last time they won in South Bend...well they were in Mile High, but that's another game. Are Hawks allowed on the beach or do sea gulls fight them off? I don't think thing any hawks are allowed on the islands!

Big Bear Avalanche at Los Alamos Isotopes - As the Avalanche falls; they actually do fall. Is that irony when you name yourself after a falling object or is that being observant? The Topes are not happy with their last games and must destroy someone!

Lake Placid Predators at Cleveland Elves - The Predators are asking themselves what happened to this season as they fell to another team. The Elves are focused on their next few games. Will the Predators give them a game?

Oklahoma City Strikers at Sooner State Shockers - The Strikers at the Shockers what more can one want? The battle for the bottom stops here with these two up in comers fighting for the right to survive!
