Nice read as always, GF!

Looks like we've got the Cabolo/Bears barnburner this week, as well as a competitive Horsemen/Fuego game. The Warriors/Rockies game carries large significance for this week, as well. The Bandits/Knightmares game really might be closer than that. A good slate this week!

Does it burn that no matter what this spreadsheet thinks you're losing to the Knightmares?

Haha, you better believe it.
We'll just have to bring out the rowdiest fans we've got when Christchurch comes to the islands in Week 10. We'll be ready...

I'd like to congratulate the Tasmania Devils on a game well-played today. You all showed a ton of heart, fighting ferociously in the 4th quarter when you all were down 34-3. You all are deceptively good, as well. Teams might not pick up on it from scouting you or gameplanning you, but you guys have very solidly built players. You guys gameplan incredibly on top of that as well, as your offense hit some areas we weren't expecting to cover as much. I'd be shocked if you weren't in the playoffs this season. Great game, guys.

I know I've certainly learned a lot from this game that we'll use in "The Showdown" next week.

We feed that frog beans...and lots of them......Very GG. Some acquistions in the off-season really paid off for us in this game. Good luck to ya as our road only gets rockier.

The Gnats almost won our second game. It didn't help that I somehow forgot to have our level 29 DE who is good for 6-8 tackles on the depth chart. What an oversight. Not saying he would have changed the outcome, but man it hurts not having him in there. At any rate, the outlook was they would beat us by 40, and we lost by 4, so I won't complain too much.

Good Game Diplomats! Maybe next time....

Regards,

Nice to upset the odds again - we've not made much noise this year, but we are starting to find our range again. GG Coney!

Looks like we are just hitting our best in time to stop Tonga's perfect season in week 11! (look at that, I managed to smack talk two teams in just one small sentence)

Week 10 is going to be huge!

I'm pretty glad to see this kind of parity. A week to remember in this conference. I can't wait for the "Game to Remember" next week. And Dunedin's right in our sights two weeks after, as well: we remember very well what happened last year!
