Inaugural GLB World Cup Kicks Off October 6th

Driven by the desire for further competition and additional opportunity to increase their fame and recognition, Pro League team owners suggested the formation of a World Championship game, where the 8 champions from Pro Leagues each season would meet on the gridiron to determine which team is the best of the best.

You realise that America are actually current champions, having won the American Football World Cup (also known as the IFAF World Cup and Gridiron World Cup), right?

I am all for humiliating the powers that be, but I have already lost 2 good men, GMs, who thought they were ready to see those pictures and who will now be spending the rest of their days in the psych ward

Loss in OT... oh well it should help expose APL as more of a competitive league than most think.

Benitos are one of the best teams in GLB IMO.

No disrespect but how does this make the APL competitive...Everyone knows USAORG is the best in APL.....Does not make the APL look like a competitive league...Makes it look like Org is one of the best teams in GLB, that's true.

Until someone beats ORG when it counts-Playoffs the APL will always look like a sub par league....That is the truth....Also I hope the TLGOT win today, but even if they do....talk to me when someone beats the Org in the playoffs.....till then you won't get the league will not get the respect it deserves....My 2 cents

People outside Africa don't pay attention and just write APL off as a weak league. Similar to Oceania and Southeast Asia ... there's a stigma.

This tournament is at least showing that the champs of these leagues are good teams that can compete with anyone.
