DAYTON 7-0 VS. HAWKS 7-0
What to say here. Dayton looks like the class of the league. JS on a mission to prove me wrong and to win respect. As much as i like the attitude, I don't think i'll pick against Dayton til someone proves me wrong on the field. Anyone notice this is the first preview where i call them Dayton the whole time?

Record wise this seems to be a mismatch, but really AVA has only played Reddy while Bor has had a tough sched, but got a marquee win against the Smokers. Gotta go with my bff Wry and pick the team that beat me.

Smokers 6-1 vs. Devils 5-2
How is this game the third one mentioned? What was that guy smoking that is doing the previews? Smokers hit a bump in the row but my boy is back on track. Devils dropped two in a row and getting desperate, but this isn't the team to get a win against. They made me look bad last week by picking the, going against this week.

I really thought the Norseman had won a game. Sorry fellas. Not this week.

AAA missed a golden chance to get a win last week. Shame that his team will be elsewhere when we all get shuffled around because they have handled themselves with class in a tough situation. This week though, won't be pretty.

Weird game to preview. Think both teams will be a lot better next year. Just in a tough league. Decided to pick a winner based on how we played them. Beat Sprouts by 38, Mama Mia by 39. Sprouts win

its true TIB the monkeys were lightyears ahead of everyone in the league (cept me) in our fdirst capped year, they lost a heart breaker in the playoffs against the team that won it all (dublin screwed us by out thinking me again) and they just never got over it. Someone convinced them they could win without real live tackles and that was that.

Huh i never knew that. Never woulda guessed it either tbh. No one from their team posts in here do they?
So how old is this league exactly?

In all seriousness though, this game will be a tough game and I am, for the first time, scared of losing a game. All of our losses were no brainers, but this one is our first even game. Good luck Bastards.

Here is some history:

The Monkeys in Season 3 (our first season) brought in this guy: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=126347, he was a 13 unboosted from season 2, signed under the cap in season 2, boosted to 16, season 4 started, boosted to 19 and after one game leveled to 20. Unbeatable at the time. They went 15-1, then the owner decided that since half his team left after one season, he sold it right after he took his guys off of it. This is the guy that owned it: http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=89400, he used to have more players and his QB there was the QB of his team and you can see he is a level 29 now, so the combo back then was damn near impossible to stop, but our boy wyrebel was there only loss until the playoffs.

If you go back through some old threads you'll see they were cocky and found a way around the level cap ruining the spirit of the cap for most the rest of us.

I'd knew he pick Dayton but I love proving him wrong.

Lol. Just to fill everyone in ultra offered us a trade for 3 of our level 30+ players for max cash. I just decided it wasnt worth the chemistry hit but if I could have taken the hit I would have. LOL.

Even if the rest of the conference isn't watching, it will be a fun game. Like you say, the rest of the teams are either way better (although we can still hope their QB, RBs, and FB all twist their ankles and can't play) or just getting started.
