I gotta give some props to my man D? E?. 21 sacks in 1 game!!!!!!

Even though going in we were heavily favored, its still a monster game waterboy style!!

Umm...he went up against perhaps the worst OT build ever. The LT had 9 speed and 22 agility against a speed rushing RDE, it was not contest. Nothing impressive to me.

Yes, that 7 in the Pancake SA is really paying off for that guy.
He has a whopping SIX 'cakes this season...
But with his stamina at 47, he gets to play shitty for a longer time!

Funny how no other DE managed close to that many against him. :o_o

he dominated last year too. is easily the best DE in the league, it's not like he just had one good game.

Its because there arent many quality DE's in this league...only two DE's with 10 or more sacks so far.

Last year he wasnt the best in the league, and he would again be second in sacks this year if he didnt have the gimme game with 18 sacks...this time to a DT.

Now I get it. You're bent out of shape because your DE only has 2 sacks this season. It's ok, there is always next year.

Not at all...my DE won the sack title last year over your DE with an agility build, but that is a better short term build then a long term build, so I changed him up in the off-season for speed and he just has quite a bit of ways to go until he starts seeing sacks like he did last year.

Actually what I am bent about is that you guys think getting 18 sacks in a single game against a CPU team with a bad OT build is something to cheer about. How do you guys think 18 sacks against a gutted team is news worthy?

Its just a shame that practice game settled the sack lead likely for good. My cumbersome DT will outsack your DE this season minus the gimme game.

Unlike you, my friend, WE do not post on these forums often to "cheer" about anything. Meanwhile, you run your mouth at will, and when one of our own does well, and we think it would be nice to give him some much deserved cudos ( not just for this game but for 2 full seasons ), you take it upon yourself to deem it and the player "unimpressive". Now THAT'S newsworthy!

If you want to give him props, do so in your own forum. If you post it here where everyone can see, expect criticism for beating up on a gutted team. D? E? had 15 sacks all of last year and he got more in one game against a gutted team than all of last season. He also has 11 sacks outside of that game this season, good for second best to a fat oversized DT.

I dont think he once said the player was Unimpressive I think he was referring to the fact that he had 18 sacks against a gutted team was the unimpressive part. Obviously if you throw out that game he is STILL second in the league in sacks, so he is still an impressive and good player, but the fact that he got 18 sacks against a gutted team is what was unimpressive. You came on here making it out to be one of the greatest games ever, and it simply was not.

I have to admit, When I first saw that on this board I laughed and thought to myself "that is just retarded". I had another similar moronic post in another team that I am on. We played a scrimmage against a full roster of lev 1 CPU's and we won 80-0 and runforestrun (our second string HB) comes on our board spouting off that his HB is the best and telling us how good he is. Meanwhile the starter chambers has twice the amount of yards and he understands the situation It was quite humorous.

Agree to disagree then. Nowhere did I "come on here trying to make it out like one of the greatest games ever." I only defended a player(Who I DC) after he was attacked for being less than "impressive". And Madd Maxx, you're correct I do want to give him props. UNLIKE you, I don't toot the horn of my own players who I created, but someone else I have the priviledge of coaching.

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing funny about beating up on a gutted team. I took ownership of one last season that was a laughing stock, but now competitive. I just find it ironic that when, for the first time, someone from my team( who is still undefeated) trys to salute one of the players, we are attacked. Meanwhile, that is only what the rest of you people have been doing for yourselves for a season and 1/2. D?E? is a good player, an active owner, with a good build. Better than the idiot who continues to attemtp to discredit him. Period. Now I am done with this conversation.

Nowhere did I say your DE was unimpressive, I only said his 18 sacks against a gutted team was unimpressive. Your DE was second in the league in sacks last year and should have been second again this year, but unfortunately, the practice game put the sack award out of reach.

If you had given your player props for a 4 sack game against an equal level OT, I would have been right there with you. I know you guys cant control whom you play, just didnt think beating up on a special olympics team was worthy of giving props.
