The Heat did the unthinkable in steamrolling former top 5 team Rawle Tech and rides Oceania's most potent offense to the #1 ranking. Their defense sucks, however. They're only the third best defense. Pathetic.
2 Pioneers 3.67 - The Pioneers extended their win streak to 26 straight with an easy win over Aukland, and now join the Heat and Tonga as the only teams ranked top ten in every relevant category. Their top ranked defense remains the strength of the team, but they are very offensive as well. Take that however you want.
3 Ikale Tahi 4.17 - These Power Rankings are worse than college football polls the way they treat top ranked teams. The Ikale Tahi fall two spots after an experimental game plan netted them a mere 59 point victory. Are falling TiT's a trend, like a sign of aging? The Fighting Squirrels can be the judge of that. Take a squeeze.
4 Kava Sharks 6.67 - The Kava Sharks maintain their spot in the top 5 with a blistering performance against the Dawg Pound. In a season in which Shark teams in general look more like clown fish than predators, the Kava Sharks remain one of the Kings of the Sea.
5 Nites 8.33 - The Nites finally burst into the top 5 after handing the Stingers their first O-Pro loss. Their self-effacing ways will not longer work now that they are up here with the big boys. Now everyone else can rightly praise their greatness and concede the championship to Oceania's greatest supergroup.
