Guess who’s back… back again… Blackie’s back… Time for Week 6!

That’s right boys, I’m back and I don’t plan on missing anymore weeks in the prediction department. I apologize for my absence the last few weeks, a mini vacation and food poisoning got the best of me.

So far the short season has been pretty interesting, as there has been some surprises along the way. I don’t know if many people expect London and Kilkenny to both be 4-1 at this point in the season, while Warsaw has fallen from grace and is having a rough go at 1-4. We have an interesting slate of games this week, so lets jump right into it!!!!

Game of the Week
London Brawling Tommires (4-1) @ Spaniard Warriors (4-1)
The tough boys from London continue to overachieve as they look to show their might against the Warriors who suffered their first setback of the season last week. The Warriors have been relatively untested against the top half of the league, while London has already scored victories against Transylvania and Dublin. Look for the Warriors to continue to try and stay balanced while the Tommies look to punish them with the ground game. In the end, I think the overachievers continue their assent to the top, and win 21-17.

Clydesdale Colts (1-4) @ Amsterdam Arctic Blast (5-0)
The Colts are better this year, but are still no match for the undefeated Blast. Mr. In-Vince-Able will continue to dominate through the air, and the Blast wins this one walking away.

Grim Reapers (5-0) @ Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine (0-5)
Another blowout in the making. CCSM just doesn’t have the talent to slow down Death. Reb and Co. go into week 7 with a goose egg still in the loss column.

Vatra Dornei Wraiths (2-3) @ Transylvania Bloodsuckers (4-1)
Jason Coker has company this year in the battle for the passing champ, but that hasn’t slowed him down from shredding through opposing defenses. The Wraiths offense has disappeared at times against good teams this season, and they need them to step up big if they have any plans on keeping up with Transylvania. RB William Jericho and a stout O-Line are going to have to hold on to the ball a lot for the Wraiths to have a chance. In the end , Transylvania will cruise to a 48-10 win.

Warsaw Knuckleheads (1-4) @ Kilkenny Cannibals (4-1)
Kilkenny has been surprising so far this season, but still didn’t look good and is fairly untested in their wins. They are going to need to win this week to at least stay in the discussion of the top teams in the league. Warsaw will need to continue to work on trying to get the ship righted, and get superstar RB Kal-El Jones running. In what might be their battle for 4 quarters this year. Kilkenny wins 24-21.

Basin City Blues (3-2) @ Oklahoma Outlaws (3-2)
This pair of teams in the past, have both shown flashes at times that they can be among the elite, just to later fall to someone they shouldn’t, and now they face each other. Even though it’s early in the season, this might be a must win game or both teams to help themselves out in positioning for the playoffs, and a win in this game could go a long way to help that. Oklahoma could very well be 5-0 right now if it weren’t for a few tough losses, while BC has fallen to 2 of the league’s elite. In this battle it’s all going to come down to the turnover battle, and it’s one I think BC is going to win, and win the game 35-27.

San Francisco Mustangs (0-5) @ Dublin D-Monks (3-2)
The Mustangs have yet to score double digits this season, let alone keep a game within 50. I doubt this week will be any different as the D-Monks have looked good after suffering two early losses. Dublin is most likely using this game as a warm-up for Grim next week. They win big.

Ithaca Space Munkees (0-5) @ Belfast Brawlers (1-4)
Belfast has had a tough time in their new league, but they are welcoming an Ithaca team that has had problems all season, but this is their best chance for a win so far in the young season. This game could end up being the best game of the week, as both of these teams are looking to start piling up some wins. When the smoke clears, I think Ithaca is going to squeak out their first win of the season, 31-30.

Good, clean game Spaniards, even on the turnovers. Your QB Jake Storm's nearly 70% completion percentage is remarkable. Looking forward to seeing you all in the playoffs.

It was a good game, other than the fact we had a CPU guy come in for some reason and play pretty much the whole game, and let you guys dump my qb's arse on the floor 9 times! eeeek

Ok, SF needs to figure it out. My RB had almost 500 yards and 7 td's... no one should have that good of a stat line. I hope Bort changes it soon so the CPU players aren't so worthless.

Yeah thats unacceptable.. To go +6 T.O. ratio and still lose..... And to have your only scores be on Defense??? But then again, 10 sacks for -55.5 yards doesnt help.
We need bloody guards, and to figure out why Joey played so little...

Good Game.. Maybe the next time we match up we'll have ourselves a more solid O-Line

EDIT: Welcome Back Blackout!!
