Would be good if we had something like 4-5 Pro Alpha and 4-5 Pro Zeta teams. Alpha plays Alpha and Zeta plays Zeta. Or we can cross or we do it Ryder Cup style and appoint 2 captains to set up the matches.

One round .... we would have an odd number of teams to matchup so there would be no tie.

I would, but could only go 2 rounds deep with the 2 free friendlies (cannot allocate more funds for GLB at the moment)

I think this would be just a 1 match tournament. Get an odd number of SA vs Oceania Pro teams and whichever league wins more games is the winner.

Agree, that would be a much easier. Just so we have an odd number of matchups, to prevent a tie...edited orginal post.

We would just need some way to break a tie- odd number of games, total point differential, result of the #1 seed game, whatever.

I dont know if the number of teams matter, I just thing we should avoid the gutted teams. Hopefully every team that signs up to play will treat it like a playoff game and play seriously.

I like the idea of it being maybe the top 10, 12 at most from each league but whatever the league decides..
