Game of the Week
Ujung Pandang at Buffalo
Two of the best run defenses (Buffalo #1, Ujung Pandang
#3) in the league meet up here in what looks to be
a battle between two bruising squads. Buffalo has yet
to lose in the regular season to Ujung Pandang and
has typically shown better synergy in the passing game.
Ujung Pandang has played 14 games this season (scrimmages
and friendlies included) while Buffalo has only played 7.
This provides good tape on Ujung Pandang's playstyle
but the savage practice schedule keeps the Warriors at
top efficiency. Comparatively, this is Buffalo's first
match up this season versus a top playoff contender.
Look for Ujung Pandang's rushing attack to be the
difference here, they're very hard to stop on the
ground.
Ujung Pandang by 7.
Maui at New Guinea
Maui by plenty.
Ho Chi Minh at Singapore
Singapore pleasures their fans again.
Game of the Week
Davao at Medan
Having played both these teams this season, Medan needs
a lot of things to go right for them to stay with Davao.
Davao's D-Line is simply too good to allow Medan to really
compete and will force a one dimensional offense early.
Davao has shown an unlucky tendency for turnovers though
and Medan will try to make them pay in the air if they
don't get run over. Davao by 14.
Game of the Week
Shanghai at Burma
Exciting matchup between two promoted squads who I know
nothing about. Burma has good momentum, so I'll pick them
for the W.
Ceret at Bangkok
Bangkok has the unenviable position of who we're testing
the promoted teams against to see how good they are. They
do it again here, but should beat Ceret.
Japan Mob at 69Mafia
69Mafia just played the Ujung Pandang Warriors with pretty
good grit and gave a good account of why they should make
it to the playoffs. 69Mafia.
Chengdu at Moscow
Moscow is gutted, Chengdu is on the rise. Morale boost
for Chengdu.
