I would guess more than a few. Considering the number of cpu/gutted/slow build teams this year all the way to the top, I predict that anyone winning 1st round in the playoffs will move up.
I suppose, actually, if someone were ambitious enough to look they could calculate exactly how many teams should move up based on total cupcake teams to move down.
Unfortunately i'm not that ambitious
It'll be for the best. At least for next season as long as we don't have another huge cupcakeification at the upper levels again. It'll be rougher though with, hopefully, increased competition.

I like it. LTD, you were talking about it was too bad we didn't start in the pros... well now we will be seeing more of the good teams moving up quicker. Hopefully we all get moved to the same AAA on the way up and things will be set-up much better from that point on.
I'm curious with this if Bort is still going to do a major restructuring or not....

From just a real quick glance I'd say that it could maybe be 4 teams moving up depending on how they decide to do the moves.
I just looked at Pro and there are 3 teams that will definitely get moved to the bottom so I'm not sure how that will affect us but maybe that would cause another 1 or 2 teams to be promoted.

This could work out very well for CWM. As we are slightly behind level wise, if we get put in a similar leveled conference it will be a long time B4 we lose.
I would rather play some tougher teams as there is more machismo involved.

Yea I agree. We have AA#4 to compete with for moving up to AA#2 so that's where I was unsure of how many would actually end up coming from our league.

well my pro team is going to go down... mid season recruiting sucks. even with all the cash i got people dont want to have to wait to next season for the team to win

Am I the only one that is OK with playing a few cupcakes? It is nice to not have to worry about the next team you play every day. We just played four pretty tough games and it kind of sucks.
I also like the continuity in the conferences...but too bad for me. I should have voted more often.
And another thing - I'm glad we are in Africa because if we were in the US we would be screwed right now with the Economy collapsing and not having gasoline. Welcome to the 70's!

90's? Have you seen the Bengals or Browns this year? I have a keeper fantasy league and I've made a living of Palmer and C. Ocho Cinco. This year...not so much.
Also: Wouldn't it have been better if Ocho Cinco had changed his name to "85" and pronounced it "Ocho Cinco"? That would have been a much cooler jersey. I also favor "O'Cinco" slightly more than the current form. Either way he is my favorite player regardless of how FredEx his performances become.

With Bort's plan any sold team would become a cupcake, but you might have 1 or 2 not 4-5.
