Just saying, they won a game against a superior team. Not a sign of bad management.
If you guys in Halifax are getting your panties in a bunch over preparation for your next game, I wouldn't bother

They certainly did beat us. I was shocked when I checked the score and saw we lost. We should still make playoffs, but that loss really hurts our chances at home-field.

Well we beat you for home field last year and it did us no good. The big thing is using these regular season losses as learning experiences and adjust your tactics accordingly....which apparently is what happened in the playoffs last year.

I bet it did you some good on the bottom line

The Maniacs now believe that Halifax management should work on their special teams game:

Well that is true.
It has been a very boring season for us so far. We spotted Niagara a lead tonight for giggles.
Yes the $$$ from a home game is nice.

Halifax didn't get their panties in a bunch. Mitch did. If you are a team owner or GM be very cautious about signing any of his players. He thinks he knows everything but he doesn't have the stones to start his own team and prove it.

Indeed, I think I misunderstood what he was whining about. He explained it in another thread. From his early posts, I thought he was upset you told him to boost for our game and he wanted to wait to maximize development. In reality, the reverse is true.

"In all reality" they are not doing such a bad job. We beat alert, then despite major special teams problems and an overmatched defense scored 30 on one of the best teams in the league. You just do not agree with their strategy. Give them time and they will make it work.
