Here it is!
Palau Pride 66 Vs Oklahoma Bears 10
After being voted the game of the week, the Pride dismantled the Bears. The Pride made a statement today folks. The Pride took 2 INTs to the house! 2 pick six's were only one reason the Pride defeated the Bears. Smash Taylor continued his fine season rushing for 128 yards and a touchdown. The Bears defense were left out to dry by a lackluster effort by their offense. The Bears defense had trouble getting off the field, barring quick scores by the Pride! The Pride the Cobras next, which should be another good game. And the Bears will play the Papeete Pirate Pandas and they should get right back on track.
Papau New Guinea Cannibals 149 Vs Milwaukee Mayhem 0
Papau flexed their muscles in this game and crushed the Mayhem. Papau over 1,000 yards total offense! Hard to keep a team under 3 digits with that kind of output! Gunner Moschetti 19/26 452 yrds, and 7 touchdowns....phenomenal day. While Jim Vike and Boss Johnson each had unbelievable days running the ball. The only bright spot for the Mayhem had to be Tony higgins (10 catches for 70.5 yards). He seemed to be in the minority of players who didn't give up in the second half. The Cannibals play the Seattle Stealth in what should be a gimmee, and the Mayhem have another tough game against the Players Club.
Sacramento gunslingers 84 Vs. Oregon Vipers 3
Sacramento spanked the Vipers with a vicious rushing attack. Sacramento again relied heavily upon their rushing attack to get the job done. As a whole, Sacramento averaged 8.1 yards per carry, and scored 7 touchdowns on the ground! Sacramento's defense kept the Vipers in the negative for rushing yards. Bright spot for the Vipers is their kicker, El Wappo, nailed a 30 yard field goal. Take it where you can get it I guess...The Gunslingers have the Tonga Havoc next, and the Vipers will look to continue padding stats for their next opponent, the Gold Coast Marauders.
Sacramento Skidmarks 48 Vs. Papeete Pirate Pandas 14
The Skidmarks picked up a much needed victory to keep some playoff hopes alive. Mig Shandro had a decent day rushing for 107.5 yards and 4 touchdowns, and Chris Shandro led the way with 288 yards and 2 touchdowns. There was a sighting of the Papeete Pirate Panda defense, they returned a fumble 77 yards for a touchdown. they weren't seen again for the rest of the game...The Skidmarks play the Buckeyes, and the Pandas play the OOOOOOOOOOklahomaaaaaaaaa Bears!
EC Express 37 Vs. Tonga Havoc 31
This game came down to the very end and could have went either way. The Havoc's Martin Shields had a decent day on the ground with 80.5 yards and a touchdown. While the Express defense was lead by Michael Speed with 15 tackles and 5 passes defensed. Michael Speed also leads the league in tackles with 50 tackles on the season thus far. On the play of the game, Mac James pass to Quickie Quirk up the left side[forced fumble: Robin Pedranti], fumbled , recovered by Michael Slobberknocker, PAT made by Shwetty Ballz [TD] (65 yd return). The Express take on the lowly Tsunami, and the Havoc get the Gunslingers.
Cook Island Cobras 64 Vs. Seattle Stealth 17
Andre Carr had a day to remember while returning a punt and two kickoffs for touchdowns! Cook Islands o-line also got the job done as their QB had time to throw and their runningbacks had lanes to run in. The Stealth's Shotgun Red and Dav McGraw seem to have developed some chemistry as they connected 13 times for 101 yards and a touchdown. The Cobras will look to challenge the Pride...which should be considered a contender at least for matchup of the week. The Stealth get the Cannibals....or the shaft...whichever you prefer!
Gold Coast Marauders 47 Vs Dayton buckeyes 24
the Marauders got up early in this one and never looked back! E George led the way for the Marauders with 266 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. while Dayton's Crap your Pants had a good day (4 rec for 99 yards and 1 TD), he certainly has appeared to have slowed up some from his early season play. Gold coast should beat the Vipers next, and the buckeyes will take on the skidmarks in what could be a very good game.
Playboy Players club 149 Vs. Suva Tsunami 0
What can you say? A strong showing against a team vying for relegation. 793.5 yards through the air by Gneiss Pass is surely impressive, as well as 4 receivers going for over 100 yards! Playboy's defense also dominated with 3 INT's and 10 sacks. Suva Tsunami's Allan Pendleton punted 21 times for 539 yards and a 25.7 yard average. In his defense, his leg is about to fall off. Maybe stamina was an issue for him? Maybe the Tsunami should bring in a backup to split time with him...who knows...The Tsunami get the Express, and the Players Club will play the Mayhem.
Lets keep the posts coming...these reports are getting tougher and tougher to find the time to do...so it is at least fun to see everyone get some enjoyment out of them.
