I posted this in the Rate my player forum with no responses so I figured I would post in here.
----------------------------------
Just curious how my player is rated and if you think he would be better suited to ROT or LOT.

I haven't put any points into Special Abilities yet. I still have to get his Vision and Confidence (via training) to 30, after that the rest of my training will be split up between Strength and Blocking. All my level up points from now on will be split between Strength and Blocking as well - some will be for Special Abilities once I determine which path I will take. (all my equipment points are in Strength and Blocking as well)

Strength: 50.6
Blocking: 54.23
Speed: 25.03
Tackling: 18
Agility: 40.85
Throwing: 9
Jumping: 9
Catching: 10
Stamina: 37
Carrying: 9
Vision: 27.66
Kicking: 9
Confidence: 20.4
Punting: 8

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Cheers,

From what I read in a few posts, anything past 55 (for strength and blocking) is a waste?

Should I get those to 55 then work agility, vision and confidence?

I don't know what path to go on Special Abilities as well (all pass? all run? a bit of both?)

Help! =)

...better suited for LOT or ROT depends on the SAs. If you got more in the run blocking tree...ROT. If you got more in the pass blocking tree...LOT (care about SA Protect most!).

Either way, get strength and blocking to the soft cap I (48/49 natural) first. Then get agility to the soft cap. For a ROT: get strength/blocking to the second soft cap then, for a LOT: blocking to the second cap and vision to the first.

Make sure, you train up speed, vision and confidence to 35 (minimum).

As LOT, you should care about the speed rushers all the time. Protect your QB! You fail if the QB is hurried or sacked by the RDE.

A ROT has that assignment too, but mainly he should take care the LDE is taken out of run plays. You fail if the RB is tackled by the LDE or another blocker stays to help you out with this guy.
