GOTW 1*Eaton Beavers 2-0 @ High Plains Drifters 2-0
Drifters have been on a roll, but haven't really been tested this season. Their next few weeks will be quite telling and they appear to have balanced their offense out a little at last. The Saints made that jump last season and went 13-3. Can the Drifters be in line for that kind of success this season? Actually nervous about this game as they're a great team. Good luck guys!
Kampala Kerels 0-2 @ Kinshasa Rumblers 2-0
The Rumblers went out in week one and impressively defeated the Gold Coast. It is yet to be seen just how tough they are and they're probably looking past this week to us in week 4. Judging by past seasons they like to pass the ball and their main rusher is a bruiser. Otherwise, they're still pretty unknown to me. The Kerels are just not ready yet.

The ALL 0-2 @ Morocco Camels 2-0
Camels took care of business last week, disposing of the Corsairs again. Since we defeated the Camels in week 13 of last season, they've gone 7-1, only losing to the Tractor in the Conference Championship. They had been on a 3-6 stretch before that. It appears that the Camels have finally woken up and are ready to give a serious fight at a championship this season. This game is well, sad.

GOTW 2*Los Angeles eXtreme 2-0 @ Mogadishu Malice 1-1
LAX walks into a matchup that on paper is closer than ever before between these two teams. Last season, the Malice put up a good fight. They stuffed the run, got pressure on Nick Fiorentino, and forced turnovers. Unfortunately, they had the same fate brought upon them as A Fior landed 4 sacks of his own and was his usual pesky self. The Malice bulked up their OLine this off-season, but ROT remains a weak spot where they have a level 25 Guard currently. This will spell trouble for the Malice offense as they won't be able to run the ball and may not have enough pressure to take advantage of their new WRs. On the flip side, MM has some great safeties, but I'm just not sure that they can shut out LAX yet. Should be a good matchup, but I can't call for the upset on this one.

GOTW 3*River Styx Jinx 1-1 @ San Dimas Saints 1-1
Two great teams who seem to have pretty much stuck with what they had after last season. Both are scary and can beat anyone. The Jinx flash a power running game and one of the league's most efficient passing games. The Saints also boast a pretty good balanced offense. Last season, the Saints just flat out dominated this matchup, winning 48-21 in probably their second most impressive win of last season. Both teams are another season older and another season better. Both will probably be playoff bound again. My heart says the Jinx might just be the better team, but I can't ignore the whooping San Dimas put on them last season.

Sahara Sandstorm 0-2 @ African Killer Bees 1-1
The Bees are probably happy to have us out of the way already after their last two meetings with us. They need to take this game and try to focus on continuing their quest to be a more balanced offense. They tried last season and eventually went back to the power running game, but I think quickly realized that they wouldn't get anywhere in the playoffs with that. They're still a great team and after this game have a stretch of 8 out of 9 games against all playoff contenders. By the end of that, they'll either be dead from exhaustion and ecstatic to be looking at a playoff slot, or dead from exhaustion and looking toward next season. Much respect to the Sandstorm and the job they've done putting a respectable team together. They should remain in AAA next season, but they don't compete with the Bees yet.

Kilimanjaro Sno Caps 1-1 @ Mozambique Thundercats 1-1
Well, once again the Thundercats have failed to prove me wrong. The Sno Caps also failed in their first real test in AAA as the Saints really ripped them apart. Both of these teams are still possible playoff contenders, but right now, I have to say they're on the outside looking in. This is a big match up and in weeks 15 and 16, the loser could be seriously regretting this loss. Sno Caps appear to be a grinding, rushing team which Mozambique has proven they can stuff. Thundercats will struggle to score a lot of points as well and this could very well end up being a very close game. We'll learn a lot more about both teams after this one.

Hey at least GC will get a win.
