Here we go!

EC Express 106 Vs. Oregon Vipers 21
The vipers were manhandled for the second game in a row. Oregon quickly relied upon their passing attack in an effort to keep the game interesting...to no avail. The Express offense proved to be too much for them. Gerald Terrent had a very nice game (125.5 yrds, 6 TD), as well as Reggie Vaine (116.5 yrds, 3 TD), all of which was done behind a great o-line effort. The Express also returned two kicks for touchdowns! John nutgrabber pieced together a 15 tackle performance and forced a fumble. The Express look to challenge Tonga next, and the Vipers have the Gunslingers.

Oklahoma Bears 108 Vs. Seattle Stealth 0
The Bears spanked the Stealth in this one. Tommie Dobbie had another great day rushing for 311 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Bears defense also added insult to injury by holding the Stealth to less than 100 yards total offense (6 sacks, 5 INTs)! The Bears look to get their first challenge of the season in what should be the game of the week...against the Palau Pride! The Stealth will take on the Cook Island Cobras.

Sacramento Gunslingers 44 Vs. Dayton Buckeyes 13
The Gunslingers three headed rushing attack of: Barry Foster, Amp Lee, and Merril Hodge rushed for 270.5 yards combined...leading the way for a Gunslinger victory. buckeyes runningback Beanie Wellons had a good day rushing for 97.5 yards, but that was not near enough to keep the Buckeyes in the game. The Buckeyes find themselves 0-2 and if they don't right the ship soon...could miss the playoffs altogether. The Buckeyes face the Marauders...another tough game, and the Gunslingers should pick up win #2 against the Vipers.

Playboy's Players Club 38 Vs. Tonga Havoc 10
The Players Club ran all day on Tonga. Rico Desarayez had another phenomenal day rushing for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Players club defense caused "havoc" in the backfield for Tonga's QBs as they were sacked 11 times, and hurried 3 more times. Tonga had a day they would like to soon forget. My only guess as to their poor play is that maybe they were distracted by their avatar? The players Club should obliterate the Suva Tsunami next, and Tonga will have another tough game against the Express.

Gold coast Marauders 30 Vs. Sacramento Skidmarks 20
Gold coast hung on for the win in one of the more entertaining games of the day. E George rushed for 164.5 yards and 2 touchdowns, leading the way to a Marauder victory. The Skidmarks aerial attack was on display as chris Shandro threw for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns/1 INT. another stellar performance for the Skidmarks came from James Potvin who had 145.5 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. The Marauders will take on the Buckeyes, while the Skidmarks will look to get their first win against the Papeete Pirate Pandas.

Palau Pride 90 Vs Papeete Pirate Pandas 7
569 total yards on the ground for the Pride was just one of many reasons they beat the Pandas today. Smash taylor seems to have found his groove early this season, and Evasive Manuever is no slouch himself. One reason for their effectiveness was their blocking...215 pancakes! Can anyone stop this rushing attack? 3 Panda defenders were over 10 tackles today, which is expected when you spend most of the day on defense though. Palau will take on the bears next, and the Pandas get the Skidmarks.

Papau New Guinea 154 Vs. Suva Tsunami 0
939.5 yards of total domination by Papau New Guinea. Suva Tsunami never stood a chance as all they could muster up was 129 yards of total offense! The entire Papau New Guinea team had a phenomenal day, too many impact players to list. While the Tsunami drop another game, they inch closer and closer to relegation. Papau has the Mayhem next, and the Tsunami have the Playboys Players Club.

Cook Island Cobras 90 Vs. Milwaukee Mayhem 0
cook Island really took it to the Mayhem today. Cook Island is really shaping up to be a real contender this season as Karl hill continues to impress. Brice McDaniels also had a stellar day throwing for 331 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Cobras defense also deserves a shout out for only allowing 63 total yards of offense to the Mayhem! The Cobras have the Stealth next, and the Mayhem get the cannibals next....yikes!

Let the discussions begin...Let me just say that this season is shaping up to be a great one!

Games of the week...don't forget to vote!

Palau Pride against the Oklahoma Bears

EC Express against the Tonga Havoc

Agreed this is shaping up to be a great season. I can't wait to see the week 3 match-up between the Pride and Bears. It should be a good one.

Great write-up

I was hoping there would be more participation in these threads! Seems like there is just a few teams that actually participate and enjoy the alpha Report...hope it picks up, it is so much more rewarding to write these up and see some actual forum activity generated from it!

wow being a guy from the Pride... I'm glad we beat the bears, but didn't expect that big of a win to be honest. GG Bears... have a feeling us at the Pride might not be that lucky when we meet again
