Warrior General Games

Im gonna go ahead and say Im biased just to give Tito something to talk about. At some point were gonna have to accept that people are what their records indicate but we are obviously not there yet after only two games.

The Fabulous Four
1. New Jersey Crocodiles(2-0)
They say to be the man you gotta beat the man, well they beat the man - cardiac drill aside a win is a win and this is a very dangerous team capable of beating anyone.

2. Roman Legion(1-1)
Forget the other two win squads these guys and Walter still have the most solid team out there though I think Walter does a better job game planning weak in and weak out the Legion are the best when they want to be(except post-season) but can be caught napping.

3. Walterfootball Draftniks(1-1)
Wanted to place them ahead of the Legion but they lost to them so wont do that as long as their records are even. Still in total they do a better job of taking each game seriously.

4. Hollywood Knights(2-0)
Certainly have not been tested yet but a strong in the trenches team that can compete with anyone wouldn't be suprised if they grabbed a title this season

Moving on up?

5. Warsaw Wolves(2-0)
Our roster is obviously set and we come off a decisive victory against one of last seasons playoff teams. We are clearly on the rise and have a big early game next week against Iberian.

6. Iberian Bocs(2-0)
No matchup against a real competitor yet so hard to call well find out what each team is made up of when we face off in two days.

7. Misc Manlets(2-0)
Unbeaten but still lack depth and need some more signings before Im ready to say their a top 4 team, still they could easily vault to the top.

Bubble Teams

8. Chuck Norris(1-1)
A good team again depth is a big concern, no shame in losing to the Knights but getting hammered by them early is hard to get over.

9. Hague Pirates(1-1)
One wonders if they have the playmakers yet to compete against the upper crust but still its a solid well lead team and I think they are opportunistic again and make a post-season run.

10. Pamplona Bulls(1-1)
A dark-horse candidate for a playoff spot following relegation I think this is gonna be one of those teams you dont want to play at the end of the season.

Poised for next season?

11. Constantinople Knights(1-1)
Taking over for one of the worst run franchises in the league won't be done over night(trust me I found that out last season) but new managment seems poised to move in the right direction.

12. Vienne Vikings (0-2)
Still appear to be building a solid plan for next season definite long term direction.

13. Luxemborg Sidewinders(0-2)
The slow builders , again its wait till next season but hey at least they have a sound plan.

A long way from the top

14. Milano Mamertini (0-2)
After a playoff run last year broke the bank definatly looking like a gut job the wheels may come off soon unless its turned around quickly.

15. Athens Minotaurs (0-2)
Still a long, long, long way to go

16. Dublin Disasterbators (0-2)
Tied the old isreal warriors for worst run Zeta team but appear headed for new managment.

I've seen us ranked as need more signings a couple of times, so just wanted to clear something up. This will largely be a rebuilding year for the Manlets. For those that don't know, we're part of a series of forum teams, and I sign or trade for players from that forum only. I do still have a few potentials coming in as we have people inactive due to Ike displacement or other reasons though, and I still fully expect to see us in the playoffs again this year.

Ok got it, your still a dangerous team and I certainly wish we could play you before you add anyone. Your right though I'd be suprised if you didnt make the playoffs this season anyway.

NRY, we're the same way, we're a forum team + some outside guys within GLB, and a few of my personal friends, which is why we have kept the team together so well.

Yep same with the crocs. I have had about 90% of the same team since season 3. Looking forward to our matchup with Walter Draftknicks

Unfortunately for us, our schedule is a bit strange. We face Draftniks, Crocodiles, Manlets, Sidewinders and the Hollywood Knights in the first 5 weeks. Real tough one. 4 real strong teams in the first 5 weeks.
I won't complain just point at it.
Crocodiles beat us so we have to blame ourselves and give them credit for a real good game

Hey william78, i like your rankings and the way you write them. We have a pretty tight game in a couple of hours, we'll see how much we have improved from last season as like you said we didn't have a real opponent this season yet.

Yeah, us too we have to face the draftnicks who i think is the 2nd best team in the conference(after you guys of corse) Should be a great game, we beat them last year in the regualr season, but they beat us when it counted in the playoffs. That game against you guys could of gone either way, if you guys would of got 1 more yard on that 4 and 9 play that would of been game and if our Kicker didnt make that shoestring tackle at the end too.

and the 'Niks are 2-1
