I awarded a first place vote with 10 points, 2nd with 9, and so on down the line. In the event of a tie an average of the two scores was awarded (ie. tie for 2nd results in an 8.5 for both). Eleven teams participated this week.

Wow, who the hell gave IC a first place vote? Inquiring minds want to know.

I can see getting some votes, but a first place vote? I do not think we are there just yet.

I am shocked that the 'Nites, Tahi, and Heat were each omitted by at least one voter.

Not necessarily. Perhaps the 'Nites and Tahi were the two teams in everyone's Top Ten, and the Heat were left out by only one voter. Or perhaps one voter made his selection by throwing a dart at names on a board and left all three out.

Not necessarily. Perhaps the 'Nites and Tahi were the two teams in everyone's Top Ten, and the Heat were left out by only one voter. Or perhaps one voter made his selection by throwing a dart at names on a board and left all three out.

I left two of the three off my top 10. And the third came in tenth.

Yeah I missed that part of the quote. So all 3 were left off by SOMEONE, or more than one someone. Because just because McGruff left off two doesn't mean that we didn't also have someone else who left off all three. I guess it just speaks to how competitive the OPL is right now (at the top, at least).

I only put one team on my list, I wonder if that's what causing all the confusion.

That is, I put one team, but 10 times.
