Not much movement in the Lion Conf, but we have a fast moving meteorin the Elephant Conf, as Ethiopia falls from undefeated to almost winless.

Not coincidentally you have Ethiopia playing the team at the top and bottom of the meter.

What's interesting to me is to see the algorithm with Dakar, you've got two lopsided losses to two teams that the system sees as 23-3; obviously, the system reasons, they must not be horrible because they kept the deficit to double digits.. so they get 12 wins? Elephant's even worse than we thought folks!

it's going off of two games...let it get some data before you all start freaking out.

Hey, I play for Dakar and I agree... I was expecting us to plummet after this week, though I think we're a better team than what we've shown so far... I think you'll tend to see correcting trends for the next two to three games, and then it's pretty close to spot on. I used it privately for the last half of the last season, and it was off on 2 games.

I love this but they really need time to get data to work right.

I don't think anybody expects this to be completely accurate after 2 games? These are all calculations based on actual numbers. I, for one, enjoy it even with the small amount of data currently available to formulate from.
