Warrior General Games

So I will give this prediction thing a shot. I'm not sure how good I will be but here it goes.

Ethiopian Food Mongers vs. Algeria Dune Hoppers
This is a very important early game for each team. I think these two teams will compete for the 8th seed in the playoffs. The winner of this game could have the inside track. It could go either way but I think the Dunehoppers win a close one. Algeria 28-24
(Actual Algeria 29-24 Wow thats a pretty good prediction)

Carthage Mercenaries vs. Casablanca Golden Eagles
My game. I wont predict this one.

Nigerian Nightmares vs. Manchester Panthers
The Nighmares should win thisone easily. Nightmares 56-10
(Nigerian 47-3 only off by 2 on point difference)

Gunston Drunks vs. New Jersey Surge
Another easy one to predict. Gunston will whip up on the Surge. Lets say 116-0
(Gunston 136-0 off by 20 but not bad)

Nigeria Warriors vs. Congo Cripplers
Congo start their quest for a championship. They should beat the warriors handily. Congo 45-17
(Congo 87-7 ok off by a few)

Angola Assassins vs. Madagascar Grand JagerMenze
You know predicting these games are pretty easy w/ all these gutted teams.Madagascar 84-3
(Madagascar 189-0 What the hell?)

P-Town Ballaz vs. Cairo Mummy Warriors
Cairo had a rough go of it in the preseason but those games dont count. P-Town should win more games this season but not this one. Cairo gets back to its winning ways 28-17
(Cairo 50-7)

Freetown Jayhawks vs. Madagascar Wild
Freetown wins this one 63-10
(Freetown 73-0 I was in the neighborhood)

Our OC re-signed before the game and I haven't had much luck finding a replacement.

Great job!

There's a huge parity in leagues this season it seems. If you look at this year versus last in at least the elephant conference here (didn't check Lion scores) and some games in AAA#2, there are some ridiculous blowouts. It's almost as if everyone knows who's going into the playoffs from day 1.

We stuffed up the wilds offense settings ...We didn't put at all, which resulted in a heap of turn over on downs

I have to admit, this season might be boring. It's nothing against the owners of the gutted teams since we all know the hell that recruiting is..especially for a gutted team in a league where the good teams are all over level 24.

The question this season isn't who's going to make the playoffs, it's what seed will those teams be.

I'd hate to be one of those gutted team owners...I have yet to sign a single free agent that wasn't someone's player who was already on the team wanting to bring another one in...

NOT ONE FREE AGENT SIGNING...that's horrifying to me...next season, what happens when another thousand teams drop...and another thousand or so teams lose their caps...it'll be worse...every season it gets worse, but Bort doesn't seem to realize it.

Anyway, I'm prolly gonna be broke and in the red this season from having to buy players in the trading block to get what I need...thanks Bort. Let's add 5000 teams next season to balance it out some more.

Turner, I think you inadvertantly landed on something. This game is now about networking more than recruiting free agents. Unless you are a good team in a high division who is willing to break the bank to sign free high level free agents, you are going to have trouble getting new players. Another reason recruiting is so hard for leagues like this is that most agents who have been playing this game for a while, have found a home where their players will stay throughout the rest of their careers. There is a small percentage of players at the caliber to start for a team in a league such as this. Since there isn't much of a difference between Africa AA and Africa Pro, those players will obviously choose the team in the higher league.
I don't think the new teams effect us very much since they are capped.
Being active in the forums and gaining friends in the game seems like the way to recruit as of now.
