Woolsheds vs Scorpions:
Woolsheds are weakened this season but they have the Fabulous Colorchange boys which should help see them past the Scorpions.
Woolsheds by 10

Pirates vs Jackals:
Battle of the AA teams where the #4 Champion Jackals have the obvious superiority over the rebuilding Pirates.
Jackals by 24

Zebras vs White Rhinos:
Rhinos are a perennial contender and always a tough proposition under strong management. Zebras were many peoples suprise package last season, making the play offs and putting up more points (alongside Buckeye Nation) on the Champions MorningWood than any other team all season. Rhinos will probably be a step to far though..
White Rhinos by 14

Mambas vs Rainmakers:
Mambas are looking too strong for the renamed Zamunda Prince Akeem Joffey.
Mambas by 21

Nation vs Vikings:
After issues in Season 4 the Nation are back. Nation, Nation, Nation.
Nation by 14....or more

Spears vs Lions:
One of the oldest Rivalries in Lion - although the Spears have yet to best the Lions. The Lions have strengthened this Off-Season - I can't see Mombasa doing it this time.
Lions by 10

Eagles vs Beerbroks:
Battle of the gutted teams. Gutted.
Result is irrelevant as neither team will challenge for anything other than last place.
Eagles by 24

Kings vs Hitmen Cartel:
Kings won the Battle of the Off-Season Recruiting - or so they say They'll prove too strong for the Hitmen here - but not by much.
Kings by 7

Disclaimer:

MY opinion only! Someone else can do week 2

Awesome! Thanks for doing predictions for the first week... it may motivate me into doing the rest of the season since I kind of lost it last season It took too much time especially since I typed a short paragraph analysis on all of them.

I had NO IDEA how the blow-outs that were lined up for Week 1 would pan out. Even the Lions against the usually competitive Spears and Zebras vs Rhinos turned out lopsided affairs. Gonna be records tumbling THIS season.

For those interested, and on a Brighter note, Elephant (that so called "superior" conference) also had it's own fair share of Blowouts.

Week 2 Prediction:
Lions vs Beerbrocks
Lions blowout. Only question is how they rack up their 1000 Yds O.

Lions by an Oklahoma Mile

I think there's going to be a pretty big difference between the top half, and the bottom half of our conference

I know both teams were gutted, but haynesworth won that game by himself http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=160951. watch out for this guy when running against this team

Great predictions Han Solo! Some quality posting in the Africa!
I would love to have you or AJ continue doing it this season! I really think it could bring life back to the forums!

PS- If Han is going to do it... AJ, can you just post "Rhinos will win" every time the predictions are up? lol

Scouting numbers certainly look good so the build is probably strong - but let's be honest in that he outlevels his own teammates by minimum 7 levels and the oppositions O by around 12 Levels AVERAGE - it's like Gholston playing Junior High.

I look forward to playing against him when the Lions and the Lagos teams meet and he has a different challenge in front of him. Especially as it will be my Guard who he'll be locking hats with.

I hope you don't mean the Vernon Gholston of 1 tackle in 3 games

Man- That sounds like a GLB NT
I do although that is against growed up NFL players. I'd imagine we'd see a SLIGHTLY different scenario against JHC....

Or maybe not

Speaking of that, what's up the NTs? They don't seem very effective unless they seriously out-lvl opponents. Why don't they penetrate the O-line more?
