We were 5-11 last year so we aren't talking any smack and I know that every team has very good players, but the Firebirds would like to respectfully nominate the following 6 players for preseason honors:
HB Canton katchum, lvl 24, 5-11 178, 3,800 career rushing yards, 124 career pass receptions, 52 career TDs, great all around back in the mold of Tiki Barber or Warrick Dunn
WR Aye Gorm, lvl 30, 6-4 193, 102 receptions for over 1,200 yard in Season 4
DT Malique Navidad, lvl 29, 6-6 312, 43 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles in Season 4, total package at NT
LB Turnip Trader,lvl 32, 6-3 240, 77 tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumble in Season 4, a classic 4-3 middle linebacker
CB Shawn Suchy, lvl 31, 6-0 192, 100 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles in Season 4, physical and fast DB
SS Whisker Biscuit, lvl 31, 6-3 223, led the conference in tackles in Season 4 and had 6 forced fumbles, reminds observers of John Lynch
Of course we have several other very good players like QB Hot Dog Pump, HB Major Rhinehart, OT Delicious Pancakes, C Bubba Casian, FB Crusher Kowalski, DE Fool Ovsky, DE Saerauco wat, LB Phlyddia Featherbottom, CB Cortney Grixby, CB Jordan Evan Jr, and P Jack Bil. Each of these players, and a couple of others, could have a big season and I don't want to exclude them.
