Hey guys. I'm going to do my best to do these again... (I know I kind of slacked toward the end of last season, started to enjoy the night life a little too much)
16. San Fransisco Mustangs - A new team to the league, and this team just had a very tough offseason and recruiting seems to have passed them by. They really don’t have anywhere near the talent that’s needed to compete.
15. Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine - They are back with pretty much the same group of players, and that may not be a good thing. They aren’t going winless this year (thanks to SF) but until they can recruit some talent, they will continue to be at the bottom of the league.
14. Belfast Brawlers - Another new team to the league, that is going to have a tough time competing in their new home. It’s going to come down whether their players have good builds, and work well together to see if they can compete.
13. Ithaca Space Munkees - The Space Munks are back with the same core of players, and have done a good job competing, but they just haven’t been able to close out games, due to the lack of pure talent, and I think this season is going to return much of the same.
12. Clydesdale Colts - This team did a good job in the offseason in bringing in new talent to try and improve and make a push for the playoffs. They were usually well coached and with this new talent could sneak up on a few people. Still, I don’t know if it’s going to be enough to compete with the top half of the league. The running game is going to have to lead the way for this team to compete.
11. Vatra Dornei Wraiths - Some new players come in to try and give the Wraiths some added fire power in their push for the playoffs. Big fella Brayden Kimball looks to lead a set of hog mollies who hope fully can keep the opposing defenses at bay. Still, this team seems to lack the talent, and game planning to compete with the playoff teams week in and week out. It’s going to come down to some good team managing for this team to make the playoffs.
10. Kilkenny Cannibals - The Cannibals did this offseason what a lot of teams couldn’t. Recruit defensive backs. They brought in two very good corners in Cromartie and Moronta, but other than that the team remains much the same, and is going to need to be able to stop the run, because teams will try and focus staying away from those CB’s. If they can manage to get a offense going and at least slow the running game down, they have a chance at the playoffs.
9. Warsaw Knuckleheads - The offseason was not kind to the Knuckleheads, as they lost a lot of talent from last years number one rushing attack. They have a serious lack of depth at the O-Line that needs attention, and lost half of their super rushing tandem. Kal-El Jones returns though, and he is going to have to carry the load to get Warsaw to the playoffs.
8. Oklahoma Outlaws - They have done a great job in bringing in new talent this offseason, and I’m probably putting them low in this prediction. They have a lot of talent in their front 7, and could really do some damage to teams that aren’t careful.
7. Basin City Blues - The Blues are back, and appear to have another team capable of making a playoff run. RB Tyler Branson will lead the Blues attack on the ground. If they can get their game planning figured out, they could end up battling the leagues elite.
6. London Brawling Tommies - The boys from London have proven to be very very good game planners and have done an amazing job with what has seemed to be a lack of talent compared to other teams. They will continue to count on a very stingy defense and their superior game planning to compete with the big boys of the league. They will be making a return trip to the playoffs this season.
5. Dublin Drunken Monkeys - The D-Monks return most of their core of players who are coming off 2 straight playoff appearances. They have also brought in some new talent to help them with their assent toward the top of the league, led by their offense that is becoming one of the better dual threats in the league. If they can get over their lack of depth at some positions, they are going to be among the leagues elite again.
4. Spaniard Warriors - New to the league, the Warriors bring in a lot of talent to the league. Led by QB Jake Storm, if they can get all the inactive players on board this is going to be a very good team who will challenge for a championship. It’s all going to come down to how the coaching staff can gameplan in their new league.
3. Amsterdam Arctic Blast - The blast continue to keep their same core of players together and look to freeze their competition in their battle for a league crown. They brought in RB Skip Hicks to help out with an already potent rushing attack. It’s all going to come down to their games with the league elite, but they have just as much a chance as anyone to move up next season.
2. Transylvania Bloodsuckers - Jason Coker is back looking to continue to set record setting passing numbers, and lead the Bloodsuckers toward a league title. They continue to become a more balanced team and are looking to battle for their chance to move to AA next season. It’s going to come down if they can avoid losing a game to someone they shouldn’t like each of the last two seasons.
1. Grim Reapers - Reb has backed up his talk and has done an amazing job of recruiting to build this team to be on of the elite, and have done so while maintaining a good team chemistry. They have very strong O and D lines and will continue to beat on the teams they should. If they can learn how to beat the top teams in the league, which they should, their talent will carry them to a league championship.

Blackie's weekly predictions were something we all enjoyed & looked forward to (even if he picked against us) and his preseason predictions were remarkably accurate as well. Wonder how he sees us all stacking up after all of the off-season upgrades?

Good luck to all teams this season, should be fun to see who ends up on top!
