I think the training may be OK, but the Advanced equipment is garbage...

I think the training may be OK, but the Advanced equipment is garbage...


+1000 to the advanced equipment

as for the actual training once again its just different... and not in a good way

I think at this very moment the new equipment is not worth it for levels such as ours, but when you put in the time, and get the appropriate amount of tokens to fully boost them they will be superior to regular equipment.

Not worthless fluff. Player only type agents need a deeper game. this is a step in the right direction. This does improve the game. It allows for a greater depth to building/shaping your player. this moves away from cookie cutter builds. More choices equals improvement IMO.

Yea after you use 10 tokens just to refresh and find a decent set. As much as my OT needs "pink shoes of + 2% of kicking" and "Blue Gloves of +1 tackling" I had to pass on them. The implementation of the new system is horrible. I'd rather have it the old way that actually works then a flashy new way that doesn't. Bleh...

I agree that player only types need more to do and I think the idea of this is decent. Once again though the execution of it all is horrible. I really don't see how this gives players any more customization then the old equipment. This new system actually gives less IMO since its based on luck.

I found a +1 Jumping, +2 diving catch for my WR. that could be a pretty interesting one later when you can upgrade it.

I think taking out the post-game energy is a bad idea as well. The well run teams didn't have problems recovering and it gave them an advantage over the poorer managed teams

Not really based on luck, but rather based on greed/ sound decision making.
If you roll a nice set of EQ, but you have heard of someone else getting a better one, you have to choose whether to take the nice set or roll again and risk only having worse equipment avail. and if you get the short draw you can always keep your regular EQ equiped.

I think there should be one more spot on the player to equip the Advanced equipment, just don't know if it's up to the level of replacing what my guys already have

not me, he just should make in game stamina a little more volatile. In real life you have a week to recover from the game. unless you are injured, you are rested before every game. so yeah you should be 100% energy every game.
