I like the offseason actually. Well the stadium building and bringing in new players part, not the down time and chemistry hits

Me too, but after our first preseason game it looks like it may take us a couple seasons to be near the top of this league.

Dont worry Bearphin, You may be ok because your still in the Eastern conference and we all know what quality of teams the East sends up each year so at least you dont have to worry about playing the Western Powerhouses....but wait...what's this?!?!? Week 16!?!?! Bearphins vs HBB = Priceless

yep, can't wait! Hopfully the game will mean nothing in terms of playoff seeding, but that's rare since the talent in this league is so much better than in BBB12

last year the interleague games changed up the seedings big time. It moved us from the 3 to the 1. I know it moved down the Fury as well, sorry guys.

I'm sure it will mean something to us. The west is stacked.

Actually, we didn't gain or lose anything. We were assured of the #2 seed going in.

Unfortunately, the Bugeaters have our number. Of course, I'd like to see how things went if we put full effort in, but I still don't think it would be in our favor.

As for the quality in the East...we've won every round of interleague play and 2 of 3 conference championships. The West had 4 or 5 VERY strong teams at the top with fairly significant dropoff. The East has 1-2 VERY strong teams at the top with 6-8 teams that have the ability to win just about every game.

I'd say conference strength is fairly even overall.

Giant Monkeys, Undead, and Knights will struggle to keep game close (unless they're playing each other). The Energy will stay close in some games, but will struggle to win 6. River Rats, Daggers, Steel Riders, and Fury look to be the top 4 in the league, though the Lizard Lickers, Bearphins, Avengers, Fanboys, Badgers, and Villagers will be very competitive and could take one of those spots. The Vanguard and NERC will likely be out of playoff contention, but will give some playoff teams fits.

The East, top to bottom, very competitive.

What do you mean by "put full effort in"? You weren't trying to win either time we played? Even when we test tactics and such we only do it so much. We still play every game to win.

Honestly, we've never fully scouted the Bugeaters...not like we've done other teams. The last game of the regular season last year meant nothing. Did I want to win? Sure. But neither Albert nor I did a full scouting job. Part was because of life outside the game, but had that game actually mattered (for us), we'd have done quite a bit more.

As for the scrimmages, we played around some. Not trying to lose, just seeing how some things worked. If we won, great. If we lost, no biggie.

Now I've just reached the point that I don't like losing to the Bugeaters so, if we meet again, I'll have to find a way to change that.
