Gotham City (AP)-- In a new environment, Jumbo Khan (DT) got extended playing time in a home scrimmage game against the Chocolate City Cha Chings, his first game in a uniform other than the Orlando Outlaws in his professional career.

"It was pretty scary for me, making a transition I've never had to make before. Now that the hard part is over, it's time for me to earn the starting job." Khan is currently behind Kirsten Pitman and Iktomi on the Depth Chart, although he looks to compete with Pitman for the job of Nose Tackle. Jumbo Khan, who stands at 6'2", 316 points, is dwarfed in size by incumbent Pitman, and it is likely that if Khan is to start this season, it will be at defensive tackle. "I've played my entire career at Nose, so if I do make the move, it'll be different for me. Who knows. I'm used to dealing with the guard and center double team, so if Kirsten takes the double, I can get into the backfield and disrupt some plays."

Khan was traded to the Punishers after his former team, the Orlando Outlaws (USA AA #1, East) had decided they would rebuild their roster, and immediately traded their veterans across the globe. Johnmichael Jones, Jumbo Khan's good friend and now former teammate (now playing in Australia) said "We always roomed together on the road. It's funky that I'm rooming with a skinny guy nowadays." After he quit laughing, Jones went on to say "I miss him sometimes. We had a good team in Orlando and had not missed the playoffs yet."

The trade was finalized after Doomsday Jesus, Khan's agent, got in touch with coach David Sack of the Punishers, and told him about his client's situation in Orlando. Jesus is also the agent of Punisher's standouts Harley Petit and Brad Solmes, as well as former Punisher Fullback Curtis Carrillo. The trade talks went on for two days with some bumps in the road, but both parties walked away happy.

"To get a veteran at a bargain is always a good thing. He's on a new team and we're in a new league, so maybe he will be less shell-shocked than his teammates. He's been playing against greater competition, after all."

Khan ended the Chocolate City scrimmage with one solo tackle and a single penalty for encroachment.

(BTW guys I occasionally will do these press releases, so get used to them. The guys in BBB#6 told me they enjoyed them but they were probably joking )
