While I never pay attention to the other conference during the season, they get some residule attention due to the matchups.
1 Sahara Sand Storm lost 0-33 vs UN Peacekeepers
Not exactly what you want to see from the top team in the conference even if it is pre season. Hopefully they see where they were leaking and apply a patch. The defense was totally dominated despite a couple of turnovers and a decent amount of pressure on the qb. Maybe UN is just that damn good?
2 Cybertron War Machine vs Liberty City Swingers
CWM won 49-13
Pretty much no contest from the whistle. CWM racked up 10 sacks and continually applied pressure. The DL was a dominant force. The offense was both methodical and explosive. The running game was hohum good but not special.
3 Lima Cheetahs vs Tripoli Terror 9-10 loss for Lima.
Both offenses were inept, so we will call this a defensive battle the two teams combined for 9 INT. Lima had nearly 100 more yards in this losing effort.
4 Tanzania Lumberjacks vs Dakar Lightning
30-10 Tan. I am afraid Tan under performed in this game. They had a huge advantage and should have put up a min of 50 pts. seemed especially weak against the pass(mental note) allowing long sustained drives but holding them out of the endzone.
5 G-Vegas Pirates vs E'ci FAlkruns
27-23 vegas. a tight game between equals. Bahama breeze had a nice game with a long TD and 100+ rcv. Both defenses were stingy on the ground. Learned that they can play vs like talent which is good.
6 Burundi Bone Strippers vs Wachootoo Shikakas
loss 6-14 WTH? Barundi threw more than they passed, and thats not their strength. maybe just a bit of tinkering in an exhibition game? it was a good game and the Barundi appeared a little out muscled so maybe all is not lost.
7 Casablanca Bogart's vs Iowa Fortress
27-31 loss. really not a bad showing Iowa seems to be a nice team and a good measuring stick. acording to D3 they were outclassed a bit, 14 pts came in garbage time. more eval needed.
8 Canandaigua Braves vs Cairo scorpions
70-10
didnt watch, because you cant learn crap from this type of game.
9 Durban DesertHawks vs Ethiopia Famine
39-10 My good friends from the desert did some work.
Although they were at a major advantage here. the matchup was not worth evaluating. Bort please to be scheduling better games.
10 BALTIMORE BALLERS vs MaRAWK!! o
completely destroyed. 59-24. gave up 3,500(jk 350) on the ground, that is sick. makes the playoffs look very far from home.
this is as far as I will go, cant cover the bottom teams.
