Let the smack begin.

Tonga drew a challenging preseason schedule with the Heat and Fiji Stingers. Our early season schedule is favorable, but the stretch run is tough as can be:

10/10/2008 Canberra Strike
10/12/2008 at West Scranton Invaders
10/14/2008 Mean Machine
10/16/2008 at Emerald City Flying Monkeys
10/18/2008 Grinnell Pioneers
10/20/2008 at Brantford Mustangs
10/22/2008 at Brisbane Gods

09/26/2008 Emerald City Flying Monkeys

The new kids on the block (MTD) drew a rough opening schedule...

09/24/2008 at Vanuatu Kava Sharks
09/26/2008 Brisbane Gods
09/28/2008 at Co-op City Blitz
09/30/2008 Big Island Growas
10/02/2008 Banzai Pipeline 'Nites
10/04/2008 at IC Incinerators

Guess jumping in head first is the way to go, eh?

Our schedule is bottom heavy with the heat, kava sharks, nites, and tonga.

Fiji opens with the Oceania AAA Alpha champ. Should be a good test to see how good they are.

Looking pretty tough for IC as well up front (for a while) other than the home opener against GBRS.
Time to start losing more sleep again...

When we came up two seasons ago, we had a brutal opening schedule, as well.

I sold my nose-bleed seats because I forgot to increase the price. I didn't sell anything else though.

ETA: I had everything but the nose-bleeds set at 3 times the expected.

Grinnell Pioneers sold out the whole stadium in season tickets... guess I should have raised the prices a bit.
