I tend to agree, posting a playbook is way more A-holeish than not releasing. If you had any chance of it, I would say that is gone now.

All you had to do was start to get yourself out there and find a team to sign you. Have them send a contract on day 1 and solved!

I was also starting so I'm not griping about xp, I need the guy free'd up to fill in a whole on a team i gm. I've been asking very, very nicely to be released all off season long.

I'm gonna start posting thier players builds now.

FWIW, You get a -1 chem hit to release in the offseason and you will get a -1 chem hit when his contract expires, so either way it doesnt matter to you. I dont want to sound like I am agreeing with the OP, because what he is doing is just dickish.

i sent this guy about a half dozen very cordial requests to release my guy and this is the first he acknowledges of it. He ought to read the fuckin FAQ a little closer and yes, to the asshole that says Im a crap gm, ive financially turned around several teams, I am gonna get 2 teams into playoffs this year and I can build players properly.
