Starting a new thread for the next season with my usual prediction.
Again its abit early, and alot will probably change before the season starts for real.
But its better doing it now than not getting time later.

ALPHA

1. IKK Fu Rabid Mutineers
IKK Fu is my favourites for this season, as they have both a good offense and defense. They are really strong and will be one of two teams to beat this season.

2. South Yorkshire Stars
South Yorkshire is just as good as IKK Fu and it wouldn't be wrong if i had put them as number 1 instead.
Which makes them the second team to beat this season.

3. Bow Street Runners
After a horrible first half of the last season, we came back really strong, making it to the conference final yet again.
And even though we did beat both of IKK Fu and South Yorkshire in the playoffs, it was only barely and they still do have an advantage over us.

4. Limerick Vikings
They managed 5th last season and seems equally strong and dangerous this season, with an O-Line matching the top 3 teams.
However lack of depth still is their main weakness.

5. Glasgow Lions
Like last season they should easily manage playoffs also this season.
They are a well balanced teams in all positions, so they might just as easily take some surprise wins.

6. Sweden Army
Yeah you might be wondering if i lost my mind, seeing that Sweden only made 11th last season.
But to me it seems they have strenghtened their team alot lately, as they have low chemistry and their players suddenly is just as good as the other playoff teams.
So don't be surprised if Sweden suddenly starts beating supposedly better teams.

7. Southriding Sting Rays
Southriding had a great season finishing 4th and making it to the conference semi-final.
This season is gonna get much harder as they lack the offense and some defense compared to the other playoff teams.

8. Team Perkis
Perkis won A8 getting to our little league and definetly have a shot at making the playoffs.
And i think they are good enough to just snag the last spot this season.

9. Lyon Breakers
Lyon dissapointed with only a 10th place this season.
They got a decent shot at playoffs this season, but it won't be easy. Due to the dissapointing performance last season, i think they'll just miss out of the playoffs this season.

10. Belfast Mafia
They won the alpha conference in A7 last season.
They are not abad team, but still lack some strenght compared to the top teams.
They will also got a shot at making the playoffs, but personally i think it will just be abit to hard for them.

11. Reykjavik Lazytowners
Its been really rough for Reykjavik after their first season, but they have avoided losing even more players since then.
Now their patience is rewarded as other teams collapse and they should do better this season than last.

12. Arrakis Sandworms
Marseille fell and the dusty Sandworms of Arrakis rose in its stead.
It won't be easy rebuilding a team, but they should be able to atleast avoid relegation, and perhaps come stronger back in season 6.

13. Belgian Beers
Just like last season, Belgian will be down there, fighting to avoid relegation. Still having good depth might give them a few surprise wins.

14. Belgrade Bulldogs
Belgrade barley avoided relegation last season, and will have to fight for their life yet again to survive our league.

15. Cork City Wildcats
Oh hear the anger and hatred coming towards me for this.
Cork had their best season ever, even making the playoffs.
I do not know what happened afterwards.
Cause they now only got 31 players left, with half of the starters who played us last season gone!!!!!
I expect them to get some new players, but as it stands now.
They will relegate.

16. Glastonbury Knights
A rebuilding team who relegated from AA2 and is just passing through our league this season.

Zeta

1. Buffalo Buffalos
Buffalo ended up at second place last season, and seem equally strong in this season.
They have a balanced level on all their players, which is what their strenght this season will be.
It was really hard to chose a winner as its really really close between the top teams, but i ended up with Buffalo as this seasons favourite.

2. The Vatican Paladins
Vatican has perhaps the leagues hardest defense. Yet they only managed a 11th last season.
I'm abit uncertain if they have been recruiting, but i can't understand how they failed this miserably with that many good players.
So look out everyone, cause i sense a disturbance in the force......err i mean the Vatican strikes back.....ehm Return of the Vatican?

3. Tranmere Titans
Tranmere made the conference final this season and definetly is a team to be reconned with.
With it being so close in the top, i would say they got a good shot at winning.

4. London Rippers
After going undefeated last season, they failed completly in the playoffs.
Seeing how they have weaker depth than the other top teams, i think they will get a much harder season this time.
Still, its close in the top, and they might pull off another undefeated season for all i know.

5. Kilkenny Sidhe
Kilkenny barely managed to make it into the playoffs last season.
However they have managed to keep their players, which will be what takes them higher this season.

6. Drunken Lunatics Beer
A good season from Drunken, which they undoubtedly are gonna continue with this season.
Yet they suffer from small depth problems which keeps them away from the top.

7. Nola Big Easies
I thought alot on this one as Nola atm has no O-Line or safeties.
And it really can go two ways for them, either getting new players, or falling apart.
I chose to go with them getting new players, and even if they are weaker than the ones they lost.
They still got hell of a defense to cause lots of trouble for their opponents.
But offcourse, if the team collapse they have nothing here to do.

8. Rome Gladiators
Rome has really lost alot of strenght the last season.
Infact they will have to fight really hard just to make the playoffs now.
Still it would take more for me to not put them in the playoffs ...yet.

9. Koln Apocalypse
Koln managed to surive with the famous 14th place.
Yet they don't have a bad team, and atm only lacks some WR's
I think they will surprise this season and even be in the fight for a playoff spot.

10. Dublin Pubcrawlers
The Pubcrawlers comes from AA2 which is abit surprising, seeing as they aren't a bad team at all.
They should even be able to fight for a playoff spot, and definetly won't be an easy opponent this season.

11. Walthamstow Dogs
They managed 10th last season, and for a long time had a decent shot at playoffs.
It will be harder this season, mainly due to them having some of the weaker receivers in the conference, and also lacks some defense.
Still that doesn't mean they don't have a chance to make the playoffs, as its pretty close between these teams.

12. Munich HofBrauhaus
They just missed out off playoffs last season, but will have a harder time in this one.
Mostly cause they miss any really great receiver or rusher.
Which is why i think they'll struggle, but won't be out of the playoff fight though.

13. Athen Gators
Athen ended up as 13th last season, and will most likely do it again.
As they aren't good enough to mix into the playoff fight, but good enough to avoid the relegation fight.

14. London Blood Ravens
They won their conference in A8, but unfortunatly for them, this conference is much much harder.
Together with Vienna they will have to fight hard to avoid relegation right back down.

15. Vienna blood Sausages
They won A7, yet stands no chance in this conference.
And as i said above, they will have to fight with the Blood Ravnes to avoid relegating right back down.

16. Dublin Fighting Irish
Dublin has fallen and the irish has stopped their fight, giving up to the supremacy of Great Britain.
Well maybe not the last, but its all over for Dublin Fighting Irish who barely has any players left.

Nice write-up. I am not going to disagree one bit with where you have us ranked... I hope our owner and GM reads this and realizes that our squad needs some help if we are going to compete in AA.

Glad to see we aren't ranked last! It might be a tough season, but we still have a few tricks up our sleeve. We might go 4-12 but every game should be hard fought and close. Can't disagree with those rankings at all.

Good luck to everyone this year.

Not sure if the Gladiators are gonna be able to compete. Owner is not very active, I am busy with my own team these days. We are short on some players.

Cool, the Beers are ranked below a team we beat handily at the end of last season, and are predicted to fight against relegation...
I guess we will see what really happens once the season starts

I thought the beers where going to be relegated last season? Didn't happen. I predict 10 wins...although I predicted 10 for my team after it's 3-13 season and we ended up going 13-3, so the Beers may get even more than 10...

It should be a good season as there are no clear cut favorites. Good luck to everyone this season.
