As with many people hitting lvl30, both my G are now in a position where i'm happy with their main stats (Soft cap two for strength/blocking, softcap 1 for agility), and my secondary stats are all up in the mid 30s (Vision, Stamina, Confidence, Speed). I'm now considering future plans and wanted to check in with those in a similar situation and facing a similar choice. Luckily I have two guards with very similar builds to play with, so I can test things out, but i'm curious as to the thoughts other people are putting in.

Ideas that have passed through my mind this offseason;

-Would extra speed really help with the pitch plays, or am I looking at upping vision to get those blocks in.

-Would extra vision help me engaging blocks, or would something like jumping help me in engaging opposing players, WR certainly get their blocks above their block skill, even if they don't hold them long, is jumping the reason?

-Stamina, will it be necessary to soft cap it with the new changes and energy system, will it lead to more 4th quarter silliness with tired players

-Confidence, again will it be an idea to soft cap it, would it be a game changer at high levels?

-SAs, could raising the two basic SA, run block and pass block to stupidly high values (8+) turn a good guard into an awesome guard, or would it be a small improvement at high cost.

So, what's running through your minds people, and what do you think on some of my more odd thoughts. Will give us something to talk about during the offseason, bring on the odd ideas .

I'm in the same boat.

I have Str at 69 raw, blk at 63 raw (all my SP from my boosts will go into this to get it up to 68), and will next decide on what to softcap.

My thinking is currently this (in order)

1) Softcap agility. Some DTs have 70-80 agility, and agile SAs. This will be done next season.
2) Softcap confidence. I hate that the 0.5 bonus each level up only goes into a low value. This will be done next off season.

Then I am stuck with regards my thinking. I m tempted to leave vision and speed around 35, and pump SAs after that. I currently feel that in season 9-10 it would be better to have very high SAs than a few more points in vision or speed.

My stamina is currently 40 and I have no plans to raise it with SP either. Also I have no current interest in training jumping / tackling or the like, although at a later date might raise jumping from its current 7 to 12-15, if I really have nothing else to train.

Interesting point on the agility, can recommend getting it to the first soft cap at least, it greatly improved the consistancy of both my G in making their blocks on your basic plays. Hasn't quite worked out on the pitches but is nice everywhere else. Questioning the value of raising it further though.
