I am going to have to call you out on this one LT.

Why in the world would you ever have 11 (thats ELEVEN) Defensive Tackles on your team? And of course all 11 of them are owned by you. 2 of the them have a trade pending. Are you signing your own players to the RR and then trading them for cash? Would you mind explaining to the rest of us what is going on?

I'm sorry I had to call you out on this but it sure looks like something fishy is going on with you and your 1000 players.

And why does this bother you? If he can make a couple million trading these guys more power to him. Just lvl 24 gear for his team will be an assload of cash.

Your missing the point... If he can just create a ton of players, sign them to his team, and then trade them for a ton of cash.... then he will have plenty for level 24 equipment, plenty for stadium upgrades, etc.... that's why it bothers me...

Im not missing your point, Nobody but yourself is stopping you from doing the same type of things.

Showboat, I will admit this myself for the Meat without being accused. I've signed eight of my own guys to trade away this week. I was initially planning to save them in case an agent on one of my teams got a new team. Since that didn't happen, I felt the best way to go would be to control the contract end of the deal and let the players I have go to other teams via the trade route. It's another one of those tactics that I know many of the ultra-wealthy teams did to maximize their stadium and payrolls so quickly. I didn't know LT was doing it as well, but I will say that it's a more common tactic than you may believe.

If you don't know this yet, it's just another "dirty" cash-gaining secret from TSE's book

Ever since TSE made this famous, many owner have been renting their own players out like TSE initially did. Like Meat said, it's become a common practice

A clue for the confused.

One of the most important aspects of this game is to maximize your revenue stream as quickly as possible. Your Stadium is your cash cow, and the bigger it is, the more cash it produces. Cash = Equipment.

Everybody knows revenue is key. It just seems like a cheap way to make cash. Gets further and further away from a simulation game and closer to a video game with a bunch of nerds looking for cheat codes.

You guys do as you wish as apparently "everybody is doing it" and its not against the rules. I am choosing to run my team like a football team, not like dungeons and dragons.

Me and my guys are looking forward to competing with everybody regardless of how they make their money. Good Luck.

I may end up assigning a couple of them to Special Teams.

Now we see what signing and trading your own players to rent them to other teams gets you....

Seriously who cares.

In ~10 seasons all his players have to retire and he has to recruit like the rest of us. Unless of course he plans to create 50 new players each season.

They really want to stop the run more this season.lol
