Has anyone found an effective counter yet to teams running it straight up the gut within the 5? The d-line splits in the goalline formation are way too wide, and there are only even 2 defenders available to run-blitz up the middle.

I havent actually had to play a team that used that offense against me, but from a real life stand point. Often times the best way to stop the run is blitzing right at the runner. Try using your defensive AI to blitz your MLB or ILBs when an offense runs that formation.... Of course one of the pit falls of that idea is that if a team scouts you well they will simply throw it in their goal line formation.
