Hey guys, I'm gonna give my example and see if anyone has some insight:

I WANT:
WR1: A,B,C,D,E
WR2: B,C,D,E,A
WR3: C,D,E,A,B
WR4: D,E,A,B,C
WR5: E,A,B,C,D

Why won't it let me set it up like this? Here's how it's forcing me to do it (by not allowing starters to back up the next WR):

WR1: A,B,C,D,E
WR2: B,C,D,E
WR3: C,D,E
WR4: D,E
WR5: E (i have a cb backing him up just in case, for now)

What's the reason for it not letting receiver A back up anyone else, and how do I fix it? I've seen teams set up the way I want to be.

thanks!

You can not put a player who is starting as a backup. Try putting them as a backup first, then putting them at the starting spot.

Put some random player in as the starter for WR1, then you'll be able to add A as backup to all the other positions. Once you've done that you remove the 'placeholder' starter at WR1. Rinse and repeat.

It is pretty annoying.

Not to hijack the thread, but what's the advantage to setting the individual WR depth charts as opposed to just putting them all in the WR slot. I understand that at times, some teams want to avoid or attain individual mismatches, but we have a nice stable of receivers and are set on 99/100 energy anyway.

I have one guy that works very well in the slot, so I'm trying to keep him there as much as possible, while I also have two speedsters that belong on the outside as much as possible.

Well that is exactly it. To obtain mismatches. If you fill your WR core is solid enough to be put anywhere on the field and do well then by all mean go with the single WR chart. However I have read that if you use both it could cause problems.
