It was 2nd and G from the 8.5 yard line.
My inputs for red zone defense are either 0-5 yards to go or 5+ yards to go with the 0-5 having priority.
It called the 0-5 yards to go play OR it called its own play.

I think I fixed it based on the number of WR's per situation, but I would just like to know how the AI reads 1st/2nd/3rd/4th down and G to go.

In your input you choose between what downs you want your input to be put into effect. It's automatically set at between 1 and 4.

Check your 5+ yards input and see what's put down there. If you haven't changed it, one of the outputs should have been called.

I figured it out. I posted in the bugs thread then ran defensive AI tester.

2nd and G on the 8.5 yard line really equates to 2nd and G with 0 yards for the first down.

Should be 2nd and G with 8.5 yards for a first down (which would be a touchdown
