These two formations are supposed to include two tight ends, one on each side of the offensive line.

Are they implemented correctly? Can someone provide a few replays with an example of each formation?

I'm having trouble finding examples.

Its not strong, weak, nor big.

It's basically just the regular I formation (although the HB seems to be lined up pretty far back).

I don't know why there isn't an option to choose 'I formation' when setting up the defenses. To get it you have to choose 'I (any variation)' which might not be what we want.

you can set up the listed I inputs above the "any variation" input.

If you order the inputs like this:

Big I
Weak I
Strong I
I Form (Any Variant)


Then your "any variant" input will only activate if the I is not big, strong or weak.

I agree though, it would be much simpler with an option for each formation.

Big I Run:I've scouted about 10+ games now, noting the formation and result from each play. I've never seen a Big I formation yet.

Big I doesn't seem to actually exist.

I coulda sworn I saw it once last season (once out of the many hundreds of plays I watched), so if it does exist, it's very rare. I don't remember what play was run out of it. Maybe a QB rush? Since nobody calls QB rushes that would make sense as a reason that we never see the Big I.

I've also never seen a run out of singleback big.

I've seen a no-TE I set with 3 WR - I think this is what the game calls Big I.
