Traditionally, Nova Scotia has remained under the radar and that has been perfectly fine until now. Why? The answer is simple; Nova Scotia has lacked a football franchise. Nova Scotia and its icy weather that gives Lambeau a run for its’ money is now the home to young upstart Birdmen!
The Nova Scotia Birdmen’s inaugural season was a true trial by fire much how a first round professional quarterback will go from college superstar to NFL rookie. The transition of college player to professional one is always a rough one. It is rare when a single player makes a smooth transition and the Birdmen, as a team is no exception. It is from this foundation that the Birdmen have built and developed their blue-collar work ethic. A work ethic that is representative of the teams’ vision of and for the future.
For the Birdmen, this blue-collar mentality has found its’ niche in every aspect of the team. The Birdmen management and players both share a vision of the team building itself to excellence. The vision is to build, from within, a team that will dominate on both sides of the ball. This means a potent offense with the ability to score at any point in the game and a defense that will without remorse dismantle and obliterate opponents on game day.
Ambitious, you might think? Yes, yes it is.
Impossible, you might say? Nope.
This vision is quite possible. This vision has been cemented with the completion of the team’s rookie season. The only place the Birdmen have to go from at this point up. The Birdmen will prove that the sky holds no limit. The Birdmen will determine their limit, if they so choose. The Birdmen will begin their endless flight to the top with the start of the new season The Birdmen will proclaim their dominance!
Teams beware! That faint cry you hear is the not so distant approach of the Nova Scotia Birdmen. Soon the roar of the Birdmen will deafen you. Then everything will go black only to avoid witnessing the brutal domination the Birdmen will weigh down on opposing teams.
