In just two days, the Vermont Breakers changed their name to the Sacramento SaberCats, started construction on a new set of stands at The Jungle, and started a complete overhaul of the roster. Additions include QB Taylor Silva, RB Desmond Moon, WR Javaris Jamison, K Chris Hansen, and SS Syd'Quan Thompson. While these additions will probably still not push the SaberCats through to the playoffs, it certainly gives the club a strong foundation to build from.
