Ok. So here's the problem. A team I OC for is having SERIOUS depth chart problems. It literally seems like Bort's machine is STUCK and we can't turn it off. OC, DC, and ST coaches all have made DC Presets... all have been applied and selected on Calendar... but Bort's machine keeps using the old one we had a few days ago that existed on the main depth chart page. On that page, the Returner was listed as the #1 HB and has been getting abused like crazy because of that.
Today, I completely cleared the main depth chart page... then 'applied' the correct preset DC's back to the main page. When I look, the ONLY place I see the returner is at the Returner position. BTW, that returner is NOT the only player not playing their proper position according to the DC, the ST coach, and the OC (me).

Has anyone else had this issue? What did you do to fix it? Is this a bug or something simple we're just not seeing? Is it time to call DD to the rescue?

Thanks to all who reply. I have a scrim coming in a couple of hours that will be after all the changes I just made. I hated making them. I am a strict "NO MEDDLING" guy that doesn't touch other coach's stuff... but this was getting ridiculous. And if we can't get it fixed, it's gonna cost us games... even playoff games. I'm hoping what I did fixes it but, just in case, I posted here for help. Again... thanks, in advance, to all who reply.

Crisis averted... for now. I still have no idea why Bort's game machine was choosing a no-longer-existent depth chart setting from the main page but clearing that page and (re)applying the Presets seemed to fix the problem. I leave this here just in case someone else has a similar issue. This might be fixed for us but I don't see any explanation why it went off the rails. What we had been doing, as it was before, was working fine until a few games ago when our Presets were NOT being used despite being selected. Before that went whack, it ran from our selected presets. Nothing got erased... nothing got changed... many convos with ST coach and DC coach and myself and team owner... we're all baffled but agree we were doing what we've always done before.
I'm just glad it's... over? Well... for now at least.

Thanks guys. Telling you... me and several others (coaches and such) were at wits end. I still don't have an answer as to 'Why' it even happened in the 1st place but, I guess, throwing absolutely everything at it finally seemed to fix (for now) whatever was broken.
