I'm relatively new to the game, so maybe that's right, but is it normal that offensive guys have Madden stats but on defense no ints? i can see very few of them in the leagues' stats...

at this level no CB has jumping or catching. Wait until pro to see how ridiculous is this game with picks.

Ok, i get it.
But it remains weird that DEs have a ton of sacks, QB hundreds TD's, RBs and WRs same...
Only DBs haven't good stats..
In any case i got the point, thanks

Generally speaking, Rookie is a terrible view into the game as it is. Most everyone (especially those that know how to build for the top levels) works on ONE skill and that can really skew the heck out of stats. Kickers work on Kicking... but lack strength... so even 30 yard FG tries are scary as hell. (Throwing) QB's work on Throwing... but not vision or agility or speed so they're literally fat, slow, sitting ducks to any blitzers. O and D linemen work on strength so they don't show much issues... but lord help them if they have to run anywhere. CB's and Receivers both work on Speed (mostly) so they're not great at turning (agility), seeing the ball (vision), or even making the catch (catching). Bort has/had a 'boost' in place for passing at the lower levels... but I doubt that extends beyond the QB's and the Receivers... so CB's don't have many INT's down at this level.

Ok so it will be more balanced once players reach higher levels.. How much does it takes? 2/3 season or more?
I.e. i've six players, and i'm building them differently. For someone i'm focusing in one skill, for others i'm trying to grow all the most important skills togheter. What is better?

For long term, max primary then move to secondary, third and after that 4th & 5th. When you reach around level 69+ you add SAs and they're ready to play.

EDIT: they=you

There is also times you want to take an attr to the next level to maximize training also. Example hits around 32 in training take it to 48 and continue training it. Sometimes there is no choice to train it past 32 on some attrs as you are still working on your 1st and 2nd attrs.

The biggest thing about all of this is ALG's (Automatic Level Gains). Every time a dot levels up, they get ALG's. This is a % number added on to a dot's skills depending on whether the skill is a Primary (gold star) or Secondary (light blue or grey star) skill. It's also dependent on if the dot is a .3, .4, or a .5 ALG dot. (The .3, .4, and .5 reflect the number of Primary skills the dot has.) There is an ALG chart for this. I can post or you can find it in various posts about the same... or even in that WIKI link I provided you earlier in another thread.
By pushing your #1 skill up fast, you can reach a point where you can stop putting SP's in it and/or training it and the AGL's, throughout the dots lifetime, will carry that skill into the 100's (natural, not EQ enhanced). You will hear many dot builders and teams emphasize this approach as it's been long proven to be the very best way to build a dot. Logic might tell you to not ignore the other skills... maybe even put SP's into them at the start... but while a rounded dot will preform very well in the lower levels, even outperforming most other builds, it will find itself worthless and weak at the top levels. Out muscled or out ran by stronger and/or faster dots that did it the 'right' way.
In many ways the way we build dots here is so anti-anything else. Console games like Madden and such... even other online football sims. Visually, what we do makes no sense... putting ALL our effort and time into ONE skill while seeming to ignore the others. Truth is we want to get that #1 skill up to a number... by a certain time in the dot's career... so we can stop working on it and totally focus on all the other important skills.
Hope that helps you, brother.

I lay awake at night in fear that Bort will stumble across this thread and mistakenly decide he needs to buff INT's
