PRE PRE PRE SEASON OUTLOOK

WESTERN CONFERENCE
1. Ethiopian Camel Snackers - Won't know until they fire things up but history tells me Spider doesn't always show his hand until the playoffs so this could be an overly high prediciton for them. Unlike Sofia, this team looks like the O is going to have a more balanced approach. They'll be getting routed in the scrimmages until they get boosted up so we'll have to see how they play on the dotball field.
2. Running Gag - They'll be in the decline and won't take a big hit until the playoffs start. However, they're still be better than most of the teams in the league. There have been one or two teams who have won the title while in the decline but the league is a bit too strong for that to happen - especially on the other side. Expect them near the top of the west but don't book them for another title although they could very easily be playing in the championship game.
3. Not Fast, Just Furious - Mass changes and a lot of chemistry to overcome. Moved away from the all pass that got them 25 regular season W's the past two seasons so either they're really stupid or really smart. We'll have to wait on that declaration on how the dots perform on the field.
4. San Dimas Saints - Went 8-8 in their opening season and had an up and down type of season. They'll look to pound you to death on the ground and had some of the longest TD runs in the game last season. Expect more of the same with the big play ground attack. They faltered in the second half of the season going 3-5 so they'll need to pick it back up to kick S76 off.
5. LG Canucks - Demoted but made the swap to stay in Casual Pro - welcome back! The roster changes should make the team better overall but they'll have to play well to sneak into the playoffs as the conference is much better and this team has yet to crack the .500 mark.
6. Chile Chupacabras - Went 7-9 last season but we're left waiting on them filling out their roster. They seem to get it done every season and surprise with what the do on the field. The conference is a bit stacked this year so I have them at the bottom but that running game is not always stoppable by various teams so they'll get wins and the only question will it be enough to get them into the playoffs again.

EASTERN CONFERENCE
1. Charlestown Chiefs - Chiefs have had the best record in the East for the past couple of years and don't see much changing that. They did get to the title game last season and the D fell through in the 4th leaving them with silver. They look to get back and try it once again.
2. Magua's Revenge - Came so close losing in OT in the conference finals to the Chiefs...always the bridesmaid it seems. They'll look to change their fortune around this season as they come back with the same team that's netted them double digit wins consistently.
3. Sofia Spiders - Usually start off slow before enforcing their will in closing out the regular season.
4. Las Vegas Chaos - Went .500 in their initial season. They're mainly an all passing team but being in this conference your measure against the three big dogs and they went 0-6 against them. They made some changes to the roster and we'll see if improves their standing from last seasons win total.
5. Tenerife Crusaders - Have to say I haven't seen a CP roster with three passing QB's on it before. They lost their rushing QB from last season so it will be interesting how the team forms a new identity.
6. Burma Black Dragons - Not sure what we have going on with Burma yet as they continue to fill out their roster (44 dots). They have some work cut out for themselves or it will be a very long season in Casual Pro.
