I remember the "shell teams" and trading players for cash to equip guys...man them were the good ole days

What's even more weird is that "The Valkyrie" is a team I bought, created, and used for 2 seasons and then lost. Looks like someone bought them and didn't change anything.

I was like wtf?

Yeah... And in topical WG fashion, they destroyed trading players completely instead of adjusting the prices of EQ.

It was nice when players had a reason to want bigger contracts.

In their defense it was always
1) come out with a new part of the game
2) userbase figures out a way to spam it
3) they had to "fix' or remove it completely

That was part of the fun w/ this game for all those seasons thought, part of the reason the sim changes every season was so fun..

Yeah... far too often what seems like a great idea at the time turns into something that people exploit and trying to repair it only makes it worse, not better.
