Dart board logic.

I read in this thread where the Devs said they weren't going to change anything else inGLB1 and were moving onto GLB2 and what, Mighty Brawlers that they haven't touched in five years.

I've said it before, money talks. As long as you keep buying flex you're perpetuating the neglect of this game.

Here's a great answer: https://www.myfootballnow.com/

Edit: The game I posted has it's problems too. But the Dev has spent 5+ years working out the problems AND he actually responds to people.

Yes, and it is as in-depth as you want it to be. It doesn't have all the scouting tools yet. If anyone joins, look me up (same name). The learning curve to be successful is pretty mild, but the learning curve to be a league champion is mega-steep.

The cool thing is, although there are the typical gamers, you can be successful using old-fashioned football knowledge. Such as 'what wins Super Bowls'?

I just tried it. Games run like once a week. None of your transactions take effect until the end of a season.

I think the idea is to make you want to buy more and more teams, so that things happen on a regular basis. There's a million irritating pop up ads, that are trying to force you to buy the "flex" to make them go away.

I can see why the game is going no where. I literally forgot to log in for a week, and nothing happened. 1 game was played. I guess I'll check back in around Christmas time and see how the team is doing.

Maybe I was wrong

There's some kind of time shift, after all.
https://i.postimg.cc/1Rn9ngDz/Screenshot-20191002-113051.png

I guess it was a coincidence, that there was a game on 27th and I joined on the night of the 25th when when I saw this. There was one game in 4 days, because I checked at work in the morning... but since the 25th, I've seen 3 games go by and today isn't Oct 11.

So it looks like that was just really bad timing on my part. I joined right after a game, then off day, then game day, then off day and then I checked before the next game.

Not sure why the weeks are labeled using real dates....

Still no transactions though. It's possible that it's an off season only thing. But if a season really only takes less than 2 weeks, then I suppose it's bearable.

3 games in basically 7 days isn't nearly as bad ass I thought it was.

Wow, so many words, so little truth.

Games run every two days. Transactions run every single day. Ads go away when you buy 'flex'. It's very cheap and I don't even remember that last time I did it. But, unlike other games, you only have to buy flex if you want to, or to get rid of the ads.

Also the dates shown are never real. There is an AFL league that shows dates from decades ago. There are leagues real player names attributes like the real players. If you run your own league it is very customizable.

NOTE: if you're in a league that is private, then it will only sim per the settings. Any league with MFN in the URL will sim on time unless the league has below 50% membership.

It sounds a lot like a soccer game I played some time back. It was fun enough without being psychotically time intensive... unless you really wanted it to be. I had 6 teams so I really got into it but, if you wanted, you could just run one team and limit the time you had to spend there. There were trades/drops... all players were based off real life players throughout the world and at all levels... the stadium could be upgraded if you were successful at the game enough to get wins, improve the team, and increase your ability to sign better players that cost more (fake)$ due to your increasing stadium size and quality that brought in more revenue along with playoff money (if you made it). Cost to play was simple... you bought a 'membership' and there were different 'levels' (Silver, gold, ect, ect...) that unlocked special abilities (like player scouting, the ability to own more teams, what level teams you could own, what leagues you could join into, ect, ect...). It was simple enough. Played it for about 2 years but got so involved here I had to cut ties to have enough time to work here properly.
